The best free office alternative

PROS: When I first use this a few years back, I was surprised cause it can do the same stuff than the software I'm currently using with the difference being LibreOffice is free while the other one has a license I paid for. Technically, this is a sufficient office solution for most of my tasks. The default user interfaces isn't the most pleasant to the eye but it's easy to fix. You only have to access the menu and change the theme to one of your likings. Also, it supports numerous formats of ...

A free office solution

PROS: Ever since I started my PhD, I've been using this office suite for my works. I'm utilizing the presentation, calc, and writer apps and they're great. At no point did I feel that I needed an option that's not present in LibreOffice. And the best thing about it was that it happened a while ago; the suite has improved greatly since. It's now a very efficient program that I can use it for my professional works like creating Memorandum and other documents. It also allows me to write ...

"Excellent office desktop software"

What do you like best about LibreOffice? The first thing I like about LibreOffice is that all documents and software are on my local machine. I can use this software on my laptop when I'm not connected to the internet and it just works. The second thing I like about LibreOffice is that it is built with security in mind. It makes it easy to encrypt documents and integrates well. The third thing I like is that it works well with Microsoft Office documents and formats. What do you dislike ...

I use LibreOffice for my presentations, spreadsheet, etc., and I love it

PROS: I'm loving LibreOffice because there's no limit to creating presentation or document. And the spreadsheet program is a really powerful tool for working with the company's accounting needs. Also, it's free. This is a blessing for startup businesses who can't afford to pay the pricey licenses of other similar solutions. CONS: There's only one problem I have with this; it's the compatibility issue with the MS Office files. Other than that, I have no complaint. But I do hope they'll do ...
