Random billing 2 years after cancelling
If I could give them a negative star I would. They keep billing me random charges when I have been assured my account was cancelled 2 years ago! Each year a new random amount shows up on my credit card. They are difficult to get a hold of, call wait times over 30 minutes. I'm contacting my attorney.

What do you like best about Lavu? Lavu works on ios devices so you dont' have to buy a lot of specialized equipment. It is fairly simple to operate and the menu setup is intuitive. The employee facing app is decent, especially compared to some other POS systems. When I signed up you could use an independent credit card processor, but I think they've changed that to where now you have to use lavu as a credit card processor. What do you dislike about Lavu? Best POS ive ever had!
They got rid of my cc fees with dual pricing and I'm saving 1500$ a month! Best customer service I've ever had with POS. I recommend them to any restaurant.

Dishonesty in billing and credit
We did business with LAVU for 6 years (even though our servers hated the platform) but did not survive for more than a couple of months into our 7th year. We were required to pay for POS service a year in advance and we were offered a refund by the manager for the months we did not use. The refund was approved but we never received it - after many many calls and no return calls just 'the finance manager has to approve it' and even a 'cross your fingers'.
