"Great tool for managing feature flags"

What do you like best about LaunchDarkly? This tool is very intuitive and easy to use. We have a lot of non technical folks in our company managing features for our client What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly? The a/b test feature could be better. We had to develop custom code on our end to support this use case. What problems is LaunchDarkly solving and how is that benefiting you? Mostly this is used for feature flags, turning features on and off and segmenting users.

"My experience with LaunchDarkly has been fantastic."

What do you like best about LaunchDarkly? I like how easy integration of the SDK into our software has been. They have several different SDKs depending on the client type. The documentation for integrating the different SDKs has been easy to consume and apply in practice. What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly? I would like to see some improvements to the management platform. There are areas, such as targeting, where I believe the user experience could be improved quite a ...

"Pretty good for feature flags and ab testing"

What do you like best about LaunchDarkly? The ability to relase features with the guarantee of safety from production failure, and the ability to revert changes. I also like you can match users by name, in a pattern. What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly? I dislike the naming of groups - "segments", it's unclear to me. Plus, I would like the interface to have dark option. Also, I think some of the advanced feature (like targeting) are not very clear from the get go. At the start, I thought ...

"Great feature flagging, lackluster UX and frustrating plan structure"

What do you like best about LaunchDarkly? LaunchDarkly's feature flagging is robust, easy to use, and available on most modern platforms. Their system has proven to be reliable and meets our recurring needs for controlling feature rollout. What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly? -Web app UX is not great. Example: good luck finding clone flag -Plan structure withholds table stakes features from non-enterprise orgs -Flutter SDK gets no attention What problems is LaunchDarkly solving and how ...

"Great development tool that simplifies feature flags"

What do you like best about LaunchDarkly? Launch darkly lets me easily turn feature flags on and off to control experimental code or beta code. What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly? There is a need for better documentation around the implementation of the feature flags in the codebase What problems is LaunchDarkly solving and how is that benefiting you? Launch Darkly lets me hide any experimental/beta code from the end user, it also allows us to use feature flags to isolate any downtime.

"Super simple feature flagging!"

What do you like best about LaunchDarkly? Specifying feature flags down to the individual users for your app and creating new feature flags are created for you for every environment you have created for your applications What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly? The interface for a flag can be slightly daunting at first in knowing what on or off is for what API What problems is LaunchDarkly solving and how is that benefiting you? Environment-specific rendering of features. A significant ...

What do you like best about LaunchDarkly? I love that it's easy to use, organized, and very intuitive. I use it to toggle our features on and off on a daily basis What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly? N/A - I like everything about it so far. We're solving the problem of ensuring our platform stays smooth and users get the best customized experience possible.

"Breaking feature deployment barrier"

What do you like best about LaunchDarkly? I do really like how easy is to set up the flags, it almost took 1 day for my team to get the flags ready from both sides, Frontend and Backend. I also like how stable is the service. What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly? There are no actual dislikes for the services. it works as expected. Recommendations to others considering LaunchDarkly: It's a good choice, but if you are going to be a heavy user don't forget to use the tagging service for the ...

"Good but expensive for basic use cases"

What do you like best about LaunchDarkly? - Very Easy To Use - Good Feature Set - Support is very helpful What do you dislike about LaunchDarkly? - Very expensive for basic use cases like only feature flags - being a saas solution, we can't use it in on-prem deployments of our solution What problems is LaunchDarkly solving and how is that benefiting you? - deploying preview feature on production without worrying - enable and disable features on account basis rather than on all users at once
