What do you like best about LanSchool? I love Lanschool because you can take a quick look at all the computers in your class at once. What do you dislike about LanSchool? Not able to pull up an individual computer to see what the student is doing without them knowing. What problems is LanSchool solving and how is that benefiting you? N/A

While monitoring Chromebooks, sometimes 1 or 2 of them won't show up for the teacher to monitor. Recommendations to others considering LanSchool: It is a great product. Teachers love the way they can keep students on task while using chromebooks and can blank their screens to get their full attention.

"Tedious setup, but worthwhile"

What do you like best about LanSchool? Once Lanschool is set up (more on that later) it is very helpful in the class. You can do the usual monitoring of students and taking control of computers, but it has many useful teaching purposes too. You can show all students one computer as an example. You can push out specific web sites for students to get to quickly. You can talk to all or one student in headphones (they freak out the first time!). You can freeze all computers for ...

What do you like best about LanSchool? LanSchool provides an easy to manage way to view students screens. In addition, it provides numerous tools that allow you to keep students on track. What do you dislike about LanSchool? LanSchool has tools that make it 'easy' to setup. But to fully take advantage of it, you need dedicated people, something many small schools lack. What do you like best about LanSchool? I liked that I could view each student's work, block them or send them messages whenever it deemed necessary. They responded when I froze their screen and asked them to return to their desks for transition. I also liked the feature in which you can push websites. What do you dislike about LanSchool? What do you like best about LanSchool? We have been surprised at the ease of learning the new system with our staff members. Teachers are able to connect right away with the system and begin using the monitor features with little training.
