"Great when it works"

What do you like best about LanSchool? When it works, it is pretty good at managing students from surfing to websites when restricting the sites. What do you dislike about LanSchool? Customer service is not very helpful. Students do not consistently show up on the monitor when they are logged in. There is a lag and students are able to jump fromone page to another without the teacher seeing it. Lanschool also does not show window tabs. If a student has 5 tabs in a window, it only shows the ...

What do you like best about LanSchool? Most helpful is monitoring student use of technology, sending students private messages, and overall control over computers. What do you dislike about LanSchool? The lag time between what is on the student screen and what shows up in LanSchool is the least helpful. That lag time is a critical flaw that impedes my ability to keep students on task. The program has frozen a few times, not allowing me to dismiss a class or start a new one. It seems to be ...

What do you like best about LanSchool? its a good program and all but please review what I dislike about the program What do you dislike about LanSchool? I hate that they sell/use your info without people's permission I'm thinking of possibly suing them for doing that What problems is LanSchool solving and how is that benefiting you? nothing they need to stop selling/using my information

"Upgrade to air was a major step back."

What do you like best about LanSchool? Being able to monitor student computers. What do you dislike about LanSchool? Lanschool Air give a lot less control to the teacher than the past version I had. I can no longer control a student device, or look up internet history. I do not like the "upgrade" to Lanschool Air at all. What problems is LanSchool solving and how is that benefiting you? Nothing anymore, it has made things worse since the upgrade to Air.

I like many aspects of this software - being able to privately message a student when you can see that they are not on the website or assignment they are supposed to be on is a favorite, but there are many features that I found beneficial. I never learned how to update all of the remote computers from my main computer when updates were issued to the software, so that required time and effort duplicating the installs ...

"Glitchy but useful when it worked"

What do you like best about LanSchool? I liked the ease of logging on to see kids versus the program we have now. What do you dislike about LanSchool? LanSchool always went down. It lagged often. We checked to see if it was our system but it was not. It was the program What problems is LanSchool solving and how is that benefiting you? We were able to monitor students activity on their computer. It allowed us to lock the computer if they were on something they shouldn't be.

What do you like best about LanSchool? Able to make mentors make blended learning easier any time. What do you dislike about LanSchool? The affordability of the gadget to be used. Recommendations to others considering LanSchool: The Spyware management support system. What problems is LanSchool solving and how is that benefiting you? The NetSupport where internet provider in my country does not provide a 100% agreed signal.
