Excellent service and customer education

What do you like best? JumpCloud has a lot of educational services, like webinars, the university and support service that help new customers like me to develop my skills. What do you dislike? I have disliked the lack of community, but JumpCloud just opened a Slack channel and I am hoping to interact more with more advanced members to become better. Recommendations to others considering the product: Use the available resources and stay on top of the developments. JumpCloud ...

awesome simple security service

What do you like best? for managing a non-windows network, implementing SAML or PAM services without an LDAP tree or radius server can be tricky or almost impossible. jump cloud makes this process extremely easy and straightforward. it makes managing a fleet of Linux and Mac servers and desktop computers much easier to secure. What do you dislike? you can only have one radius server for our pricing tier. Recommendations to others considering the product: Give it a try. The ...

Low overhead for a great directory service

What do you like best? So far, the integration of services such as Office 365, Jamf, and G Suite has saved countless hours of administrative management. Having JumpCloud as our centralized authority, and it being cloud-based, has meant we save on server maintenance and the positions it would require to do dedicate. There's also PowerShell integration which has been perfect for bulk management for users and groups. What do you dislike? There isn't anything I dislike that isn't ...

Most flexible central directory solution for enterogenous IT infrastructure

What do you like best? Multiplatform support, from Linux to MacOS. Complete visibility of authentication on all layers con company infrastructure, from WiFi to WebApps. What do you dislike? The 2 UI for administrators and users. If you are Admin and User this double login and double personality makes you bored every time you havo to switch from 2 profile. Why not have an internal "Change to admin" step into UI/UX Recommendations to others considering the product: Apply ...

We are using jumpcloud since 4 years and its very good and easy to start adopting in any environment

What do you like best? LDAP integration in almost all tools and APIs What do you dislike? jumpcloud should revisit expiring tags in place of groups. Tags concept was very good earlier. Jumpcloud should support latest AMI of AWS EC2 instead of waiting What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? LDAP authentication and running commands across all EC2 servers

Using JumpCloud for Access Management

What do you like best? Simplicity to mange user and instances. At other companies, a simple server access request can often take 1/2 to resolve. With JumpCloud, the UI is very simple for manual changes OR using the api one can set up automation for access. What do you dislike? Better ldap query builder. Other applications such as Jira need to access users only in specific groups. We have yet to be able to properly get the filtered query to work without bringing in every user. ...

JumpCloud has worked perfectly for my needs

What do you like best? Directory as a service. Radius and MDM offerings What do you dislike? Insights are an expensive add-on and I wish there was an additional OAuth2 offering Recommendations to others considering the product: Jumpcloud is a great solution when needing something within your budget. It offers all of the things a small company needs while still offering the ability to secure themselves like an enterprise. What problems are you solving with the product? ...

Great tool to assure security policies

What do you like best? Very good tool to support security policies, specially because it facilitates the remote management of features and information. What do you dislike? I don't have anything in mind for now. The suggestions we had, they seem to be in the roadmap already. Recommendations to others considering the product: Jump Cloud is the tools which most covers all needs in terms of governance that we could find in the market, specially regarding network segmentation. ...

Excellent SSO option

What do you like best? - Simple, easy setup and management of our mac infrastructure. - Works really well. - Stability and great uptime (can't remember when it has ever been unavailable). - Agents on machines make it simple to change out passwords for users. - Great support when we run into issues trying to integrate another vendor with SAML. We've been on several calls with them where we were trying to setup a new integration / vendor and kept running into problems. There ...

Best LDAP as a Service

What do you like best? The ability to assign accounts to systems and applications. The ability to use a single set of accounts across our internal applications, third party tools, and ALL operating systems makes the life of an IT admin a dream. This save me countless hours provisioning users to my entire infrastructure with the click of a button or the execution of a simple script. What do you dislike? Mac operations are not my favorite. The file encryption is a little annoying at ...
