Jumpcloud easily help us to deploy sso and manage our Mac fleet

What do you like best? - the solution is easy to use and a lot of tutorial are available - even without the premium support option, the support is quick to answer to all the requests - the solution is able to manage LDAP, SAML & RADIUS - there is a lot of compatible 2FA solutions - the MDM capabilities (especially for Windows & Mac), with preseletected policies What do you dislike? - the lack of customization for administrative roles - the logs collection is not ...

Great for managing a hybrid environment

What do you like best? I love that I can use Jumpcloud to manage devices and create an easy login experience for my users. Installing Jumpcloud on devices is quite simple and the experience for updating paswords is even easier. We have a really strict password policy and allowing people to reset passwords on their own is crucial. Lastly, I love being able to push updates to my users through Jumpcloud. What do you dislike? I dislike that it's not easy to export information from ...

The one cloud directory service to rule them all

What do you like best? The most essential part of Jumpcloud is the cross-platform capability to work on Windows, macOS, and Linux. What do you dislike? I would love to see commands run on a Multi-Tennant level versus each client enrolled. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Jumpcloud solves the identity management and policy updates to multiple systems across different platforms. Whether that's lockout policies or management of ...

Fantastically modern and simple to use

What do you like best? The simplicity of adding new devices, along with being able to manage and monitor both windows and mac devices. Also not being dependent on a VPN or similar. What do you dislike? Very few things that I've found, its working perfectly so far. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you have a highly mobile workforce, or are working from home, this is the best investment you can make. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

JumpCloud - Best directory service in a long time!

What do you like best? JumpCloud's flexiblity without relying on server after server to link everything together really help simplify the network organization. The Directory as a Service is a great alternative to Active Directory, which has been around for decades! Their Radius servers are easy to setup and allows you to further secure your network. There is a very intelligent MFA that doesn't annoy your employees by knowing that there was a previous authentication and authorizing the ...

Great Tool, Good Support

What do you like best? JumpCloud is a great endpoint management tool which allows you to extend your current identity provider infrastructure to your endpoints. With our remote rollout, JumpCloud quickly allowed us to deploy password protected endpoints, with encryption and native 2FA. We now have an almost 100% remote workforce and we rest easy knowing out endpoints are protected and secure. The policies are useful to ensure that endpoints are installing updates, have appropriate ...

Simplifies account management both for admin and users.

What do you like best? Provides a central and unified account management for admins. All access and user accounts can be controlled from one system. The ability to enable MFA increases the level of security. Being compatible with different OS is also a big plus. What do you dislike? A simplified payment/billing process would be much nicer compared to the current system in place. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have a lot of ...

LDAP made simple to get up and running quickly

What do you like best? I like the interface that makes it easy to see your assets at a glance. What do you dislike? Bulk changes should be made easier. Exporting options are not robust. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Problems with onboarding are being solved quickly through ease of use of the tool. LDAP knowledge for junior engineers are not needed to get them started with administrating the tool. Managing assets have gotten ...

Saved Us on Linux Logins and User Management

What do you like best? The ease of use for local authentication on non-domain machines using domain credentials. Building domain integration for all of our devices all around the country was near impossible, but here we can get the best of Active Directory (authentication) without needing custom software or unusual packages on Linux. It only took us a few minutes to get the AD integration installed on our domain controllers, and a lot of that was picking the utility user/password we'd ...

Jumpcloud Review

What do you like best? Jumpcloud is a very versatile system that is constantly getting updated. It works as an SSO solution, and is one of the only products I've found that is able to centrally control user logins on Macs and PC's in environments not using centralized active directory services. What do you dislike? It needs more integrations for SSO and LDAP services, but I know this is something they're working on. Recommendations to others considering the product: No ...
