Secure remote users and devices from the cloud.

What do you like best? Cloud based, no on-prem hardware required. Great for small businesses and trials - first 10 users are free. Centralized password management, MFA, device polices, and LDAP. Free training and new/free certification available until the end of 2020. What do you dislike? I haven’t found anything I’ve disliked yet. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Certification compliance requirements - centralized ...

Best Directory as a service application

What do you like best? The way it can integrate different softwares at one place and the way user can sign into all the integrated application from single place and also its core ability to save passwords What do you dislike? Nothing to share at the moment, because we did not observe any issues using it so far Recommendations to others considering the product: If you want to make things hassle-free for your employees, then please do consider it. It's not going to upset you! ...

Even as a work in progress, they're head and shoulders above of the competition

What do you like best? JumpCloud provides a suite of tools and directory services to provide great remote support to our endpoints of every OS in our infrastructure from one pane of glass. Device and user policy management works well and although there is still a lot of room to improve, the core suite of tools is head and shoulders above the competition while still being competitively priced. They have basic offerings to span most of what I need to manage Mac, Windows, and Linux ...

Modern AD for Modern Infrastructure

What do you like best? The ease of use, AD Migration toolkit, and support are bar none. It's easy to use, just works, and provides functionality beyond AD that is perfect for the modern remote work environment. What do you dislike? The only dislike is the lack of features. Adding in tools for remoting into your devices and more GPO type features would be great. I'm sure all of these "dislikes" are future features. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you're ...

Easy management with SSO option!!

What do you like best? We have a few users that log into multiple different Mac's and their password was always different. We use JumpCloud SSO to solve this issue. We also added MFA to our MacOS logins! What do you dislike? When your password changes, it can cause some funk with MacOS KeyChain. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? SSO and MFA to MacOS signin.

JumpCloud is a complete SSO solution and AD Replacement

What do you like best? JumpCloud can be managed day-to-day from anywhere and by most people in the IT department. The interface is simple and the options for third party integrations are robust. What do you dislike? The radius server setup needs to allow for the same IP with different ports. People using managed service like Meraki may only have one IP that handles routing based on ports and protocols. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Great directory option

What do you like best? Good replacement for AD. Includes Mac support. No infrastructure investment. Supports remote workforce. What do you dislike? Missing some policy features vs AD, but most of that can be compensated for with scripts deployed via JumpCloud. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are an MSP and this allows us to give enterprise directory features to our small clients on a platform that scales with their growth.

JumpCloud Success for DAAS and Management

What do you like best? JumpCloud was very easy to set up and get started. The DAAS is as simple as adding users, no fuss at all. Adding agents to devices was also super simple. What do you dislike? We are using the password and device management feature on our laptops. One device that I shipped out to a new users had a password syncing issue when it couldn't connect to the internet, that was difficult to work through - mostly because it was a Mac. Recommendations to others ...

THE platform to use for startups issuing endpoints to employees!

What do you like best? By far the easiest to set up and use platform to secure endpoints (ex. Windows, Mac computers) issued to employees and enforce policies (ex. screen lock after X time, BitLocker enabled, etc.). I was worried that I'd have to go deep into some Microsoft AD rabbit hole, and it turns out that JumpCloud is the much easier solution AND lets me also manage MacOS devices in the future - it's a big load off my mind. What do you dislike? Needs MFA options for endpoint ...
