Joomla - Simply the best

What do you like best? Easy to use, make daily changes on the fly and easy to control user accounts. What do you dislike? Was difficult to get used to but after training, reading and doing a lot of hands-on it was much easier. Not something to pickup on overnight. Recommendations to others considering the product Keep program up to date and read ALL documentation What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easy to design cutting edge ...

Great Product and easy to use!

What do you like best? Ease of installation. Perfect guides for install and usage for the product. Updates are very easy to accomplish What do you dislike? You have to install a module or plugin for everything. It would be nice to have a lot if it integrated already, and just turn on when you need it. Recommendations to others considering the product It is very simple to use. If you are considering it, do it. You will not be disappointed! What business problems are you solving with the ...

Joomla is everything you need and more

What do you like best? The ability to own my content and my platform certainly make Joomla very compelling. I have never had any issues with finding companies who are able to support the application whenever I needed. If there was ever a time I struggled with something, there was always a member in the active community to help out. What do you dislike? Since there is no formal company which maintains the platform, you are at the mercy of the community to release new updates. Unlike ...

What do you like best? I like Joomla admin panel a most, it is very easy to use and all the possible things which is needed is available at one click. What do you dislike? I dislike a default design of some joomla component like Jomsocial, J review, may be it can be improvable. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I have developed many websites using Joomla and Mobile apps as well, so I have provided many solutions for many businesses. ...

Another website builder

What do you like best? The design builder is pretty easy. It's easy to make quick edits to the site without knowledge of coding. What do you dislike? Not super impressed by their plugin library. I think Wordpress has a better repository. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We were looking into rebvamping our website and checked out Joomla. It wans't bad, but I think that Wordpress did a better job of customization.

Not bad

What do you like best? I enjoyed the range of functionality with this platform What do you dislike? The user experience could use some improvements- while a lot can be done, it is not always easy to figure out where the right tools are or how to make the most of the platform. Can be complicated in the back end. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Hosting an interactive website to attract customers and prospective leads

One of the most complete, yet easy-to-use CMS

What do you like best? Joomla is a very flexible solution, allowing you to build a solid web site without having technical knowledge. Using templates is easy and you will also find plenty of plugins and extensions, allowing you to build a customized system. What do you dislike? Joomla can be a little difficult to use at the beginning. It is also very dependent on the template you use. The more extensions you use, the more problems you will have in the long run, especially after updates, ...

A more grown up alternative to Wordpress

What do you like best? You have far more flexibility in page control than wordpress allows and once you've learned the different naming protocol for components, plugins etc it's a doddle. Also more secure than wordpress. What do you dislike? Although there is a massive library of add-on components available it's not as large as Wordpress. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are starting to build more multilingual sites and joomla ...

Great, straightforward CMS that allows easy allocation of management of various pages

What do you like best? I love the ability to assign users different levels/areas of access so that they can keep pages updated themselves and I'm not constantly updating something when someone emails me. This is an especially nice feature the bigger the pool of people who need to edit the page gets. What do you dislike? Interface looks a little old-fashioned and can be a bit finicky, which is intimidating to less experienced users. Recommendations to others considering the product It ...

Effective, but not user-friendly

What do you like best? Joomla can really do anything you want. If you have someone who can code and customize a website from soup to nuts, Joomla can host it with almost infinite possibilities. Its also an open-source CMS which means you can switch coders or hosts at any time - as long as they know their way around Joomla, they can get around your site. What do you dislike? Even once customized to your particular website, the backend of Joomla is not at all intuitive or user-friendly. ...
