A good start for a CMS
What do you like best? Joomla is relatively simple to follow, managing the site set up and adding new pages / blog content. Asset management was also very easy and clear, with clean folder options What do you dislike? Tagging and SEO became more difficult on the older versions of Joomla and so several upgrades to the CMS had to be completed. It has got better since these new versions we used. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We ...

Joomla is a well-rounded platform for your content needs
What do you like best? Joomla has hundreds of plugins, all of which are created to serve a certain purpose, such as forms, ecommerce or blogging. Joomla is generally more secure out of the box than more popular CMS platforms like Wordpress. Easy to create and mage your own templates, which makes it a snap when using Joomla with large teams What do you dislike? Joomla is definitely a more technical platform than, say, Wordpress. Support can be filled with tech babble, or nonexistenet. Some ...

What do you like best? I enjoy how user friendly the platform was. We could easily manipulate our web content and the SEO tool was incredibly easy to use. What do you dislike? Support was lacking. BUT there is an amazing community on the web that can help you out for any issue. Recommendations to others considering the product Its a good tool. I would make sure you are going to use it OFTEN. It can be pricey. If not, go with wordpress. What business problems are you solving with the ...

Powerful CMS has pros and cons
What do you like best? Joomla is a robust CMS that is popular enough to have a decent selection of templates, plug-ins, components, and extensions available. What do you dislike? Not as known, popular, or easy to use as WordPress, so fewer options available for the items above. Clients are not typically familiar with it either. If clients have any preference at all about CMS, they will want to use WordPress rather than Joomla, so it takes convincing. Recommendations to others ...

Good platform for ease of use, but can be quirky
What do you like best? Ease of use is nice, but once you get fully running with it it can be quirky. What do you dislike? No as "self-explanatory" as other platforms. Often need to do searches or contact for help. Users cannon edit templates and storage is limited. Recommendations to others considering the product Do your homework. It has to be the right fit since there are so many options these days. Although the costs are good, the support can be lagging and flexibility not as useful ...

Decent CMS but misses the mark in some areas
What do you like best? Positives are that it is hosted for free, gets automatic updates, and is ready to use in a matter of minutes. What do you dislike? Misses the mark in that the mailing functionality is limited, as well as storage space. Also, users cannot edit templates (big negative and the support is lacking. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Inexpensive way to handle site

Easy and Flexible open source CMS
What do you like best? Joomla has adaptable framework with user friendly back-end; I really love that Joomla is free opensource CMS, with thousands of extensions and that it contains the ability to add so many necessary extensions for free to boost site features, tending to work out-of-the-box with a highly finished look and feel. It is easy to use, once you know how. What do you dislike? Joomla is dependent on the template you use. The more extensions you use, the more problems you will ...

Great for New Web Designers!
What do you like best? I like how user friendly it is. It's easy to teach to others and play around with yourself, you just have to try things on your own first. What do you dislike? Modules! They are very tricky to me for editing and manipulating. Recommendations to others considering the product Go for it! As long as you have staff who can really dedicate time to learning and adapting your site, use Joomla for it! What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...
