The best PIM that ever existed.

What do you like best? First of all it is a great piece of software that allows you a lot of functionalities. You can do wonders with it, and enrich your products and organize them in an easy an appropriate manner. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that works in retail. What do you dislike? It can be intimidating in the beginning to understand how everything works. Out of the box it looks pretty straightforward, but when you get into the deeper workings, you ...

Best of breed PIM with a solid philosophy and tons of momentum

What do you like best? InRiver PIM is an agile and highly malleable platform that covers all the bases and is designed from a product marketers perspective to be everything that an ERP system is not. For every shortcoming that InRiver could do better, they've 10 things exactly right. What do you dislike? The primary downside of InRiver is the on-premise legacy and the still-divided customer base. Shedding that dead weight will be a huge benefit to the product. The user ...

Excited about the changes to the way we control product data.

What do you like best? In our industry, customers call wanting a specific item with certain attributes. The query function allows the user to drill down to multiple conditions. It will also help with the training process. What do you dislike? The scheduling process for updates and fixes. Of course what is priority to us might be just a mild issuse to others but the goal should be to cause a little interruption to the user as possible. Recommendations to others considering the ...

PIM fan for five years

What do you like best? This gave us the one source of truth that we didn't even know we so desperately needed. It has started to prove itself company-wide, as PIM is now the one catching the mistakes of other systems. What do you dislike? We've had a lot of instances finding it's not as simple as it had sounded. For instance- we have the Content Store- but now what? Or- we have Syndicate- but now what? Or- we have the InDesign print connector- but now what? Recommendations to ...

Great Value for Upgrading Your Product Data

What do you like best? InRiver has helped our organization significantly increase our productivity, and speed to market with our products. By gathering all of our product related data into one streamlined location, for the first time in our history we know what information we have, what we need, and who we're sharing it with. The value for our investment has been fantastic, and the InRiver team has been quite helpful in assisting us in leveraging the platform What do you dislike? ...

Rock solid solution

What do you like best? Very easy to use and powerful PIM system. Data updating and reconciliation is very easy. What do you dislike? The design of the backend is a little outdated. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use it to optimize product texts for several clients for better SEO and conversion rates.

Wonderful support!

What do you like best? We were lucky enough to get some time with Thomas S. at inRiver. He is a Syndicate guru-- a very smart man. He is willing to help walk us right through our challenges with difficult syndications and THAT brings peace of mind! What do you dislike? Nothing at the moment. I appreciate the inRiver Community boards. Tons of useful information there. Recommendations to others considering the product: I recommend you get a good partner. This product is ...

Great system so far!

What do you like best? I like how user-friendly the interface is and how seamless it will make our processes. We have a ton of information on our website and this system will make it much easier to make updates to the messaging and images. The level of customer service has also been great! We have had hands-on training and support throughout the implementation phase. What do you dislike? When searching, there are multiple ways to do so using "queries." This is a little difficult to ...

Very Good Experience!

What do you like best? The product seems very user-friendly. I'm fairly new at this, but feel like I will have no problems picking it up What do you dislike? Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to the phase where I need to use PIM yet. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Keeping our data clean and well-sorted, to start out with

What do you like best? The sleek and modern look and feel in comparison to the other products we demoed. What do you dislike? The special training needed for users to use it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We were in the process of launching our ecom site and quickly realized we needed somewhere to not only store all of our content but to enrich and make it it better. As a result of implementing inriver it required us to ...
