I recomend Ingeniux

What do you like best? Auto-navigation and taxonomy are superior tools. What do you dislike? Page dependencies when publishing often led to massive publishes. However, this has much improved with the latest version. Recommendations to others considering the product: Ingeniux is a great CMS. I would recommend for higher-ed or commercial use. The company's leadership is passionate about the product and is routinely forecasting, adapting and expanding the product to meet industry ...

IGX Review

What do you like best? This content management system offers a lot of options for multiple users to contribute to their website while still allowing for administration and oversight. The user interface is really good in comparison to other systems I have worked with. I've had a good time working with the support team. The move to a NO SQL database and moving to use .NET as its primary development language is also a move in the right direction. What do you dislike? Generally been ...

New user with only positives

What do you like best? The syndication feature has allowed us to create content and put on multiple pages, easing our overall workload. What do you dislike? That taxonomy cannot be filtered is something I hope will be fixed in the future. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure your design and cut-up are as ready to go as possible. Failure to do your own proper QA early in the process will lead to unavoidable delays, lost time and wasted money - none of this ...

A powerful platform for powerful websites

What do you like best? Everything in Ingeniux is represented by XML data, which is very versatile and easy to manipulate in C#. The ways you can manipulate and organize the data in your website via categorization, and pull that data throughout the site is very powerful and allows you to create almost anything you want in terms of front end code. Ingeniux is also very flexible and customizable, with API hooks into a lot of nooks and crannies of the CMS. You can concievably integrate almost ...

Ingeniux CMS is easy for authors and the technical support is great.

What do you like best? The personalized technical support, is the best. If an email can't answer the issue, IGX support staff gets on the phone or on a webex meeting to work through the issues. Once a solution is found, they usually summarize the solution back to you in an email. This is great for documenting the solution for future reference. What do you dislike? I think the product is getting more technical in its development. Maybe .Net provides more flexibility; however, I think ...

A CMS that can meet your simple needs and your complex needs

What do you like best? I like that the CMS can be setup as complex and as simple as needed. For example, we have a couple instances of the CMS running. Our main instance needs to complex with a couple dozen schemas. Another instance we have setup just has a few schemas and basic code. I also like the architecture of the CMS where the design side and the web side are separated so If we need to take the CMS side down for maintenance we can still keep the website still up and reduce any ...

Great features and easy to use

What do you like best? Ingeniux has a very robust feature set and can be customized to meet your needs. What do you dislike? I wish there was an option to preview your scheduled changes or the state of the site for a given date. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Empowering the marketing department to create and manage the website.

Ingeniux is a powerful platform

What do you like best? I love the having full control over the rendering system, without all the legwork of making a CMS What do you dislike? The CMS can be extremely slow at times, even screeching to a halt after a while, combine that with not being able to push new templates directly to the server and it really slows production at times Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure to have a dedicated developer on staff to really expand your capabilities with ...

Ingeniux is a fast, flexible, modern CMS.

What do you like best? Ability to create a variety of hooks and schemas; the CMS itself handles everything from security to workflow rather well, and the API takes care of just about everything that's not already built in. What do you dislike? Small hiccups in development/design. Developers need to think more about UI before going ahead and implementing changes. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easy to set up various forms of ...
