Ingeniux: a powerful content management system

What do you like best? Ingeniux provides thorough custom support for each installed instance of the CMS. Instead of trying to patch or add features to an 'out-of-the-box' CMS, Ingeniux is built for your specific needs in mind. What do you dislike? This is not a free CMS, so the price tag can be heavy for some. Recommendations to others considering the product: For higher education, I highly recommend consulting with Ingeniux. Their team is trained to work well with specific ...

We use Ingeniux CMS for content management on our websites

What do you like best? It allows us to change content without doing a deploy of any code. This allows us to change content on non-code release days. It also allows for non-developers to make content changes. What do you dislike? I believe that it is likely an issue with the way we implemented CMS but we only use it for content at this time. Users are not able to change the look and feel of the website. they can't move fields around or add fields. that still needs to be done by a ...

Happy with this CMS

What do you like best? Ingeniux is far more intuitive to use than our last CMS. I used to have to constantly retrain users on our old CMS, but with one training, users are usually good to go. What do you dislike? The setup of permissions and workflow could be a little easier. Recommendations to others considering the product: I would recommend that others consider Ingeniux when selecting a CMS. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

A decent and responsive system

What do you like best? I like that Ingeniux works as a headless and decoupled CMS. It really gives us the ability to work in the manner that we'd need depending on the project. I also like that we have a lot of flexibility to build custom apps within Ingeniux for additional functionality. What do you dislike? We've had troubles with the nature of the support that is provided by default. Generally would be good for average users i.e. content authors, but not as high level as is needed ...

When Content Is King

What do you like best? I love being able to accomplish so much without a formal code push. Putting the control in the hands of content authors can be game changing. What do you dislike? The developer documentation could be much better. I've had to create supplemental documentation to get my engineers up to speed quickly. Which is the idea as we integrate more and more of our applications and sites. Recommendations to others considering the product: Ingeniux is pretty awesome and ...

Ingeniux CMS is easy for authors and the technical support is great.

What do you like best? The personalized technical support, is the best. If an email can't answer the issue, IGX support staff gets on the phone or on a webex meeting to work through the issues. Once a solution is found, they usually summarize the solution back to you in an email. This is great for documenting the solution for future reference. What do you dislike? I think the product is getting more technical in its development. Maybe .Net provides more flexibility; however, I think ...
