"Video Editing and Production For The Mass"

What do you like best about iMovie? Mac users attention! Have you ever considered editing the video files you shot with your friends on the last trip to the beach or the hike? I know video editing may seem complicated at first, but with imovie that is not a concern. Imovie is beautifully designed and powerful at the same time, that is something less seen nowadays with software design. The user interface is fluid and neat, as a current user who now uses Final Cut Pro X and edits 4K video ...

"Fast and easy"

What do you like best about iMovie? As a free software that comes with a mac, iMovie has amazing features available. Its features are more complete compared to Windows Live Movie Maker and provides more flexibility in terms of editing. Its UI, being more appealing makes it seem professional grade software. Its crossfade and overlay templates are also pretty well made compared to other free software. Furthermore, iMovie offers video in video which means video merging can be done, with its ...

"Good for amateur or beginner editors "

What do you like best about iMovie? How easy it is for somebody with no knowledge to open the program and make a basic edit. What do you dislike about iMovie? Not advanced enough. Not much flexibility in making adjustments. Recommendations to others considering iMovie: Use this if you are a beginner. More advanced editors will be left longing for more features. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting you? Able to create short videos without hiring

"Not Without It's Learning Curve"

What do you like best about iMovie? Ingest of a wide array of codecs is an asset. Working with Final Cut Pro 7, one thing that was always cumbersome was having to transcode formats for them to work within the NLE. iMovie is a quick, one-stop shop that allows you to drop whatever video you want to edit, make a quick piece and then export. What do you dislike about iMovie? I mostly dislike the interface. If you come from higher end products like Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Lightworks ...

"excellent results"

What do you like best about iMovie? His pre-designed templates are easy to edit. The very fast and high resolution rendering and provides file very lightweight. Its effects and stunning transitions in their texts. An intuitive interface for creating projects from scratch with completion of sufficient quality. The program has a 100% fluent from any device used. In all the time I've used rarely it gave me errors. It requires a high degree of experience to work in its interface, any beginner ...

"Good Editing System for basic video editing"

What do you like best about iMovie? The iMovie editing system is very easy to use and allows anyone to cut video on a professional style editing system. What do you dislike about iMovie? I think it is too basic and needs more features and functions to be considered a professional grade editing system. Recommendations to others considering iMovie: I don't think they should change anything. I don't think any professional editor would consider iMovie to use opposed other professional programs ...

"iMovie Ok - Not Great"

What do you like best about iMovie? I used this software on Summer editing videos for my church and I like that iMovie has easy to use templates and is super reasonable - if you're throwing together simply slideshows with small video clips this is the software for you but I would not recommend it for large scale projects. What do you dislike about iMovie? I have been editing for awhile but for some reason could not get the hang of this program, it really isn't all that user friendly to ...

"Good Beginner Video Editor "

What do you like best about iMovie? Comes on Mac products so it's free and works fine as a basic video editor. What do you dislike about iMovie? Very glitchy program. Not many features. Will get the job done, better for consumers, but doesn't have enough editing features for professionals. Recommendations to others considering iMovie: If you're doing things for yourself, this is a fine program and probably don't need the features of bigger programs. However, it's not industry standard. ...

"Easy Editor and Great Quality"

What do you like best about iMovie? I've used many different video editors and iMovie had me pleasantly surprised with the quality I got in such a short time. I like that you have the option to create your own projects with your own transitions, text etc... you can really make a movie project your own but if you're in a rush and just want something to look nice but not take too much time iMovie has some great templates that you just upload your video to and iMovie does all the rest... a few ...
