What do you like best about iMovie? It is free. Easy to use and intuitive. Many transitions options. What do you dislike about iMovie? The sound is hard to edit. Sometimes is hard to export material. Recommendations to others considering iMovie: Not great for sound What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting you? Editing short videos. I like final cut a lot better

An included library of transitions, music, sound effects and backgrounds makes it a useful tool for quick editing, especially if you don't know your way around more professional tools like Premiere or Final Cut.
