"Easy to use, simple video editing software"

What do you like best about iMovie? It's pretty easy to use for someone who does not have expertise in design and/or video editing. I can quickly record screen grabs in Quicktime and create an iMovie with fades between clips, etc. What do you dislike about iMovie? I don't know how iMovie compares to other video editing software. It seems pretty basic, so I'd be curious to know how it differs and why people like others more. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting ...

"Easy for new users; robust enough for experienced users"

What do you like best about iMovie? I'm primarily a PC user, but one thing I appreciate about Macs is the similarity of interface among Apple products. What do you dislike about iMovie? Not good for editing longer videos - best for short projects. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting you? It's cheap (comes installed on our laptops already), and removes a huge skill barrier for students and teachers to make professional quality videos.

What do you like best about iMovie? iMovie makes it easy to trim and edit clips including sound bites fast. Exporting different file formats is simple and intuitive. What do you dislike about iMovie? As an educator, I often look for clips to enhance the student learning experience. When I can't find them, I create them myself using iMovie.

What do you like best about iMovie? It's straightforward to use. The layout is pretty intuitive for a video editor with a drag-and-drop design. Especially if you are trying to edit some videos quickly, with a bit of time, you can make a more excellent final product. What do you dislike about iMovie? What do you like best about iMovie? I like the newer, easier to use interface. Everything you need is right at your fingertips and video editing has never been easier. What do you dislike about iMovie? iMovie is not a super-advanced editing tool, so animations and design are not fully there yet. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting you? Simple and straight-forward video projects to throw clips and artwork together. It makes quick design projects more faster!

What do you like best about iMovie? Edit movies like pro, sharp features that are not found in other ios/windows software. What do you dislike about iMovie? Presence among android users , i think since a lot of apps are making it available for both Android and IOS users, please look into this. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting you? It helps me edit vides like a pro without having to actually learn about video editing.

What do you like best about iMovie? Easiest to use interface for video creation that I have ever used. What do you dislike about iMovie? I have to use it on a Mac and I am not very adept at Apple products. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting you? Vide editing, as I frequently have to download video assets from vendors and edit them for upload onto my website.
