"Easy, drag-and-drop movie making with intuitive interface "

What do you like best about iMovie? Quick learning curve, ability to edit with relative precision in a simple interface, ability to use multiple audio tracks separate from video, can create relatively pro-level videos in-house What do you dislike about iMovie? Ideally screen titles/graphics would be more flexible/have more options. The drag and drop editing can be a little touchy and is not as precise as ideal but gets the job done. Recommendations to others considering iMovie: Get in and ...

"Simple, clean, easy to use!"

What do you like best about iMovie? I like how everything is there at my fingertips! I don't have to go searching through several windows to find what I need. Drop down menus and pop-up windows make it to where I don't have to look away from my video editing, even when I'm searching for the perfect sound-effects. What do you dislike about iMovie? One of the recent updates kept causing my software to crash, but when the newest update came out, it solved the issue. In terms of actual editing, ...

What do you like best about iMovie? Very simple and easy to use for less tech savvy people What do you dislike about iMovie? Very few advanced features and very little control over editing functionality Recommendations to others considering iMovie: Only suggest the use of iMovie for non video editors looking to stitch a few clips together What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting you? "User friendly even for the most inexperienced"

What do you like best about iMovie? The app is made for users who want very little to do with highly detailed edits, for this reason it's great for creating fun, silly projects for students What do you dislike about iMovie? Syncing can be a pain, and while the lack of detailed editing is occasionally a gift, it can also be a hassle Recommendations to others considering iMovie: Great for quick projects that require little attention What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting ...

"Good starter for beginners"

What do you like best about iMovie? It is pretty straight forward, user-friendly, easy to learn. Would recommend to any beginner video editor. What do you dislike about iMovie? Of course because of how straight forward it is and easy it is to learn, it's not as advanced as other paid programs therefore you don't have much control on every aspect of the video. What problems is iMovie solving and how is that benefiting you? Still does the job in making videos. However, if you're looking for ...

"Great Starter Tool!"

What do you like best about iMovie? I like the simplicity of iMovie. It isn't great for complicated projects, but is perfect for quick editing. What do you dislike about iMovie? The features are very limiting. If you want to edit where you text is located in the frame, you don't have as much functionality. Recommendations to others considering iMovie: iMovie is a fantastic tool if you are just getting into video editing. The features are limited, but will serve as a productive resource for ...
