Monitoring complete Infrastructure with Icinga and Icinga2

What do you like best? I have used Icinga and Icinga2 heavily in my previous experiences. It helped to migrate all monitors from nagios to icinga2 with lot of automation from frontend . For example Importing probes from Icinga2 director was very useful.It saved lot of time and can import 1000's of probles with single click. I was very happy with distributed monitoring feature specially using master and satellite zones concept.Overall It helped to completely monitor infra,app,logs ,url etc ...

What do you like best? Icinga2 is really useful and also has clearly documents for starter or newbie who wants to monitor the large network and services environment. It's also support distribution monitoring modeling, this very helpful for scaling and growing of automation services if needed. Almost you needed that container by this platform with Icinga2 core, IcingaWeb2 frontend and ton of amazing plugins from official or community. It's really good. What do you dislike? Time to ...

What do you like best? Icinga was easy to setup and easy to use.. There is plenty of documentation out there that will help you get through the installation. What do you dislike? I found the documentation for setting up the monitoring of Linux servers a bit difficult to understand. What do you like best? One of the best advantage is we have only one ticket instead of more in case of the devices are related to each other during the outage. Easy to navigate on the GUI.
