Great interface, very easy and practical for use

What do you like best? The dashboard is very user-friendly, you can see alerts for services, ceased alerts, and alerts for hosts. Also, black skin is great. What do you dislike? When you click on alert history it is a little bit untransparent, also it will be great to make one dashlet for acknowledged alerts separately. What problems are you solving with the product? What do you like best? Excellent capability in delivering alerts and data for connectivity, availability, and general health checks of the infrastructure. What do you dislike? Sometime, become unstable; some reports could be improved. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? What do you like best? Icinga was easy to setup and easy to use.. There is plenty of documentation out there that will help you get through the installation. What do you dislike? I found the documentation for setting up the monitoring of Linux servers a bit difficult to understand. What do you like best? Easily customizable, quick to deploy. Scalable if needed. Can support auto-adding of devices, bandwidth between devices. Can monitor any service needed or a simple snmp/ping test What do you dislike? While easy to deploy, customizing does have a moderate learning curve What problems are you solving with the product? What do you like best? It is open source and free, meaning the software is easily extendible. All Nagios plugins, as well as all the community plugins are usable with Icinga. You can use alot of advanced features, including check scheduling, notification escalation or a very detailed user access and management system.
