Mostly intuitive; responsive customer service; accurate accounting.
What do you like best? I like that I can get somebody on the phone/email and that they are competent and enthusiastic about helping me with my needs. What do you dislike? Great customer service, great pricing, so happy I found Heartland!
What do you like best? I love that I have a personal representative who I can call anytime for assistance. I love that I receive reminders to process payroll. I absolutely LOVE the employee onboarding portal! What do you dislike? It's not the easiest payroll system to learn. I wish there was an option to gross up a check from the net without having to copy the amount and paste it into the gross earnings section. They can't keep payroll personnel so no one is properly trained or knowledgable
What do you like best? I used Heartland for a small business for a few years and had endless issues. There was a new person assigned to my payroll every couple of months and the new person was never adequately trained to function in that role. I finally left them and asked them to help me either close my business or tell me what I had to do. They did not know and when I asked to have the assistance of a "supervisor" she got snippy with me because I was terminating with them. What do ...

Great customer support!
What do you like best? They have good, experienced people to help answer questions. The online portal has everything needed to manage payroll. And the ability to print your own payroll checks is great. What do you dislike? Could use a bit more customization abilities for end user in the payroll entry table screen. Helpful, accurate and accessible
What do you like best? Staff have been uniformly helpful and accurate, when I call in with questions. Staff is accessible by e-mail, which works REALLY well for me - if my particular specialist is not available, someone else picks up the e-mail and answers my questions.
