I love Google Sheets

What do you like best? The functionality is basically as good as Excel but it's just so much easier for simultaneous collaboration. What do you dislike? It is only slightly worse than Excel in terms of chart making and sheet functionality. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am able to collaborate with colleagues by working on the same document at the same time and that way we are always on the same page.

The most powerful spreadsheet editor in existence.

What do you like best? Thanks to not only the formulas you're used to from other spreadsheet editors, conditional formatting on cells, and real-time collaboration but also the unprecedented power of Google Sheets in combination with Google Apps Script makes Google Sheets the most powerful spreadsheet editor in existence. What do you dislike? Due to the tremendous amount of features that Google Sheets possesses, it can be quite hard to figure out all the different possibilities. ...

Massively better than Excel

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to access my spreadsheets from anywhere and share them with anyone! What do you dislike? Honestly, I just hate spreadsheets in general. But that's totally not Google's fault. HA Recommendations to others considering the product: If you hate Excel as much as I do, you'll (hopefully) love Google Sheets! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I track EVERYTHING in a spreadsheet, ...

Excellent for Creating Spreadsheets

What do you like best? I love that I am able to use this software to create the same version of spreadsheets that I am able to create using Excel. Also, since this software is free, that is an added bonus. What do you dislike? Some features in Excel are not available in Google Sheets. There are limitations but nothing that prevents you from actually being able to use the software. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Google ...

The most important one is that the sheet can be updated by the user you shared your access to and easily shared with anyone with view-only mode. Some of the plugins can also be integrated into the google sheets that will ease your work as well. What do you dislike? Google sheets can be accessed with laptops as well as mobile. But the plugins are really more ...

Why use Excel over Google Sheets (a free solution)?

What do you like best? All right, I understand Excel is a great tool. No doubt about it. I am sure it has a ton of functionality that Google Sheets does not have. For the average user that uses Microsoft's Excel, though Google Sheets is a great alternative. First and foremost, it is free. I think this is important because you should not have to pay to use such a software. I am big on open source and access to everyone in regard to software. In addition, I like that is SUPER easy to use ...
