Great for Free Product

What do you like best? I can make changes to my websites to test items without manually logging in and changing. Very easy to use if the test is straight-forward. The statistical analysis is automatic and makes sense. What do you dislike? There have been some issues with cross-account and cross-domain goal tracking which are kind of confusing. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I can understand what variations of copy or images ...

solid free choice for a / b testing

What do you like best? it easily integrates with other google products and does not come at an extra cost. So that is pretty sweet. Just implement the plug in and off you go. Even if only over client site redirects (which when possible you should avoid you can quickly test a few ideas What do you dislike? It does lack the easy drag and drop like surface from an optimizely or unbounce - but sometimes that is even a good thing Recommendations to others considering the product good ...

Extremely easy to use, but slightly underpowered.

What do you like best? The best part about Google Optimize is that it is very easy to set up and begin running a test. What do you dislike? The wysiwyg editor isn't as intuitive as it could be. The data being reported is a tad misleading. Recommendations to others considering the product I would make sure that you are comfortable interpreting the raw data yourself before using Google Optimize. Having a full understanding of statistical significance will help you avoid false results. What ...

Easy to use but wish it would be more flexible

What do you like best? If you're just getting started with A/B testing, then you can't go wrong with Google Optimize. With five free test slots, there's plenty you can be optimizing and learn from without having to pay a penny. I've found that WYSIWYG editors of other paid software can be really buggy, but I haven't run into any issues with Optimize. What do you dislike? It's a bit limited when it comes to changing HTML and CSS edits to pages. The visual editor doesn't let you use a ...

Simple to use

What do you like best? The redirect tests are helpful for testing conversion experiences. It is linked to Google Analytics so we can dive deeper into the data, such as looking at breakdown between mobile/desktop conversion rates. There are a lot of targeting options, so you can limit the audience that is funneled into a particular experiment. Being able to target by source is particularly useful. Integrates with Google Ads so that you can show particular ad groups a certain ...

Promising platform, still a little rough. Integration with Google Analytics is a game changer

What do you like best? Google analytics integration. Makes integrating data easy. Anything in GA you can use in Optimize. Super valuable is if have a lot of custom dimensions. The visual editor is better than optimize IMO What do you dislike? Bugs! Firefox doesn't work, the preview plugin doesn't work for 90% of our company. It uses sessions to do stat sig instead of users, for b2b businesses thats not ideal. It also has thin documnetation, if you are a newb to GA or testing you may ...

Easy A/B and Multivariate testing

What do you like best? It is really easy to set up. The fact that it connects with Google Analytics and allows for specific goal tracking is a major plus. What do you dislike? There are some limitations. For example, if you want to keep using the free version, you are limited to 5 tests at a time. In most cases, however, this is more than enough. Recommendations to others considering the product It is super easy to setup. There are a myriad of tutorials available to guide new users to ...
