Pretty basic, restrictive, not a fan of the workflow either. Still early days for Optimize

What do you like best? It's free. No denying that's great. It's not the only tool thats inexpensive - others are free or under £100 a month too, but it's definitely the most popular for free. What do you dislike? A few things. The workflow for capturing metrics means stepping out of the interface.. it's just awkward. Really not a fan of blocking off parts of the UI either.. AB tests are fine but there's so much more that'd be useful without sending more hits to Google (which i guess ...

Easy to use but wish it would be more flexible

What do you like best? If you're just getting started with A/B testing, then you can't go wrong with Google Optimize. With five free test slots, there's plenty you can be optimizing and learn from without having to pay a penny. I've found that WYSIWYG editors of other paid software can be really buggy, but I haven't run into any issues with Optimize. What do you dislike? It's a bit limited when it comes to changing HTML and CSS edits to pages. The visual editor doesn't let you use a ...

Simple to use

What do you like best? The redirect tests are helpful for testing conversion experiences. It is linked to Google Analytics so we can dive deeper into the data, such as looking at breakdown between mobile/desktop conversion rates. There are a lot of targeting options, so you can limit the audience that is funneled into a particular experiment. Being able to target by source is particularly useful. Integrates with Google Ads so that you can show particular ad groups a certain ...

Powerful free tool for front end changes and testing

What do you like best? I like that Google Optimize allows us to quickly add targeted messages to the site that we can change on the fly without engineering resources. What do you dislike? Sometimes that targeting doesn't have a corresponding way to line up with what we'd like to do and we need to use different systems instead. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Google Optimize has allowed us to add scheduled, targeted messages and ...

Just needs a few tweaks

What do you like best? I like how easy it is to navigate and simply set up tests. It is easy to be able to use for users who don’t use the tool in their everyday life What do you dislike? You can’t edit code once a test has been set live and this results in there being a large amount of cloned tests What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are able to test different variations and ensure that our results are correct for users

A way to improve your LTR and UX

What do you like best? It is really easy to use, especially to improve your LTR in a safe way. I like the fact that I can gradually increase the percentage of traffic going on the test page, so that I can safely monitor the performance. What do you dislike? It could affect your loading time, especially when you test more than one variant at the time on the same page. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Finally an easy way to test ...

One of the best free Website A/B Testing Tool

What do you like best? Google Optimize is very tightly integrated with Google Analytics and Adwords. This allows running A/B Tests, Split URL test and multivariate tests for different Google Adwords Campaign that we run. Due to Google Analytics Integration existing audiences and goals can be used to run site experiments. The dashboard of Google Optimize is very easy to use and experiments can be setup quickly. Promising platform, still a little rough. Integration with Google Analytics is a game changer

What do you like best? Google analytics integration. Makes integrating data easy. Anything in GA you can use in Optimize. Super valuable is if have a lot of custom dimensions. The visual editor is better than optimize IMO What do you dislike? Bugs! Firefox doesn't work, the preview plugin doesn't work for 90% of our company. It uses sessions to do stat sig instead of users, for b2b businesses thats not ideal. It also has thin documnetation, if you are a newb to GA or testing you may ...
