Great visualization of reports

What do you like best? The data visualization is wonderful. We can take our complicated website and social media data, put it in graph form so all our C-Suite executives have a quick takeaway. What do you dislike? The way it was pulling in a number of social media stats was not matching up with the analytics on the social site, so we still use Sprout Social to supplement. Recommendations to others considering the product: Be flexible with how you get your info. What problems ...

Extremely robust for client reports

What do you like best? Data studio is an extremely robust platform that is great for creating and sharing reports with clients. What do you dislike? As with many Google products, there's not a lot of polish to the UI, and there's a steep learning curve. Recommendations to others considering the product: Despite there being a steep learning curve, Data Studio is worth the hassle of learning. Try using and experimenting on the templates first. What problems are you solving with ...

Easiest Data Display

What do you like best? The easiest way to display data into your DataStudio page. The fact that you can share the results with other people. I also like the pdf export. It is very easy to use and the integration with Google Analytics, Sheets and other Google projects makes it a very valuable asset. What do you dislike? There is nothing to dislike, as it's well made. The learning curve it's easy. Perhaps a place where we could learn DataStudio fast. I am sure there are many places to ...

Create simple yet elegant report visuals

What do you like best? Integration with Google Analytics tool and the ability to combine different data sources. It is fast and responsive. Automating the time-based information in reports is a breeze. What do you dislike? Like other tools, there is bit of learning curve owing to advanced feature google Data Studio has to offer. Out of the box Integration with other tools could be better. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you want to implement something ...

Easier than Tableau, great for Marketing Professionals

What do you like best? I love that Google Data studio easily integrates with Google Ads. Google ads has very poor dashboard/performance functionality so google data studio makes it easy to monitor performance. What do you dislike? Wish it integrated with more advertising platforms out of the box (or that more advertising platforms integrated with google data studio). In particular I would love it if Bing and Marin software integrated with Google Data Studio. Recommendations to others ...

It can make really nice reports, but needs improvement.

What do you like best? I like that the reports can be consolidated into 1 sheet and that I do not have to rely on google analytics report. I can share the report with third parties without giving them the login credentials for google analytics. What do you dislike? I dislike that integrating data from various platforms is difficult. For example, blending data from analytics and search console. Plus, the tables cannot be customised the way I want. It is extremely complicated. II am ...

What do you like best? It is important to emphasize that Google Data Studio is a platform that offers me excellent report sharing with very accurate data to establish a previous schedule. In addition I can establish integrations with multiple channels for a well organized report personalitation. Where I can even connect with a wide variety of products providing good connection with other connectors with incredible support. What do you dislike? In addition to being an interface that ...

Review of google data studio

What do you like best? I like the user interface and how easy it is even for the business user to use this service. It has also good capabilities as well What do you dislike? Sometimes doing custom tasks that are not supported natively can become quite a challenge. Also there is stiff competition from other clouds with better features What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are trying to consolidate large amount of data into a common ...

Super quick to learn

What do you like best? It took is less than a day to get it setup and running with some core business dashboards What do you dislike? It's slightly restricted in some areas, the sharing is a little clunky. Recommendations to others considering the product: Set your goals up in GA first! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are making a huge number of data sets accessible by the entire business

A half-baked product with good potential, but costly

What do you like best? Currently, Data Studio works great with Google Analytics (GA) data. You can create OK looking dashboards using GA and make calculations between metrics. The reports are very easy to customise and read. What do you dislike? It's not yet ready to easily inject targets and calculate such KPIs as % monthly sales vs sales targets. Financially the costs of implementing and using the source data, contribute to making it difficult to achieve an ROI What problems are ...
