I have to constantly check my email…
I have to constantly check my email because even though the settings are all correct I still don't get notified that I have mail. My mail also disappears alot when I click to open it. Very disappointed. I'm sure the response will be an automated message stating I am doing something wrong. It's always the users fault ya know.

Gmail clips half the message with ‘view entire message’ nonsense. The only purpose is to annoy people.

Don’t bother
Don’t bother. If you lose your phone number you can not get back into your gmail account. No helpline to call or live chat. Just completely locked out of your email account. Would recommend any other email provider.

Gmail security features work against you
On holiday in Rhodes, and my phone was left in a taxi. Knew that without instant tracking I'd never find the taxi or phone again. Thought "Ok - sign on to my account using cousin's phone - track it" But Google are brain dead. 2FA forced a text message to.... the missing phone. So I was LOCKED OUT of everything all week and lost £700 brand new phone. Cheers. Came back and removed 2FA - but that's not the end of the nightmare. Gmail is terrible.
The app is terrible. No feature to allow you to organise emails into folders. Problem solved - open a desktop version on tablet/phone. Then try and add a label... time-consuming!!!! SORT THIS OUT GOOGLE. SIMPLE FIX: ADD A FEATURE TO BE ABLE TO CREATE FOLDERS IN THE APP VERSION PLEASE.

Google/Gmail the worst email vendor and company
Have had a gmail account for many years, and have saved a bunch of important attachments, documents, gift cards, flight vouchers, and the emails in general. I log in everyday.
