  • User-friendly interface liked by long-time users for its clean design and ease of navigation.

  • Integration with other Google services, such as Google Drive, Calendar, and Tasks, praised for convenience in managing productivity and storage.

  • Generous free storage capacity (15 GB) appreciated as sufficient for personal and professional needs.

Top quality app

Top quality app. Carbon neutral. No privacy features though. Even seems to be antiprivate by massively using our emails for all their AI quirks. No communication nor obvious proof of the contrary at least.

Invasive. 100% Servant Of Corporations, Naturally

Repeated and continual Login security warnings. My attempt to STOP the annoying notifications resulted in DENIED use of my account and demands for more personal information, after THREE authentications including, from my 6-year-old iPhone, my password, a CODE verification sent to the secondary email address. Still denied! This all happened while I was searching for copyright information, then trying and failing to see Quora answers, about a book: ‘People of the Lie’. [which Amz sells BY ...

Google helps protect corrupt carriers like MetroPCS

Google doesn't look out for their customers, they protect the carriers, even if what the carrier is doing is illegal. Google also tempers with sales from their store. Over the past 5 years, I have had paid for applications vanish off my accounts and the invoices either removed or renamed to other services that I have never used. They do this so they don't have to report the income to the IRS. Luckily I have email addresses that save copies, so am able to prove the record tampering. As for ...

Awful

Awful! For some reason I was locked out of all my accounts. I logged in to all of them bar one. My main one. Keep getting this message You didn’t provide enough info for Google to be sure that this account is really yours. Google asks for this info to keep your account secure. If possible, try again and use a device on which you’ve signed in before. If your account is managed with Family Link, we‘ve sent an email to your parent to change your password. I have read up on it and it appears ...

Gmail mobile app (October 23) poor

Gmail mobile app (October 23) poor as let down hugely by the inability to clear/mass delete emails, for a supposedly ‘professional ’ company inexplicable, otherwise good!

Great until you have a problem

Great until you have a problem. My gmail was hacked in October . All details were changed including the 2 stage verification. I still cannot access this account and I’ve tried everything! The account is still being used by the hacker who stole £923 only yesterday. The only support is online which just sends you round in a circle, when you do get an email it simply tells you the same advice that’s online. Be careful as when it goes wrong you’ll be on your own

Recover deleted emails poor

Very trustworthy. But, they cannot recover deleted emails, even when it's deleted from the bin. Not even if it's 30 days. I have used other companies for emails, and they can recover upto 30 days worth of emails. Come on Gmail, please sort out your archives, and bring back my emails that I accidentally deleted from the bin.

Google blocks genuine emails to work…

Google blocks genuine emails to work addresses that I try and send, saying they are spam - and seems to hold emails in an outbox far longer than other providers. I cannot succeed at business with gmail and with my consultancy clients that use gmail addresses (particularly in developing countries where I largely work)
