"Better than the big names"

What do you like best about Alma SIS? Choosing a SIS is not an easy decision, but Alma does attendance, scheduling, reporting, and report cards better than the other big name student information systems we have done business with or tried. "Clean, powerful, and affordable... good for small school systems"

What do you like best about Alma SIS? The data is there. It's web-based, and it has most features you could ask for at a lower cost. Every year it gets more and more powerful and easier to use. Customer support is quick and responsive. Integration was easy, but I would suggest running a parallel system for several months. "Easy to use, yet powerful SIS and more"

What do you like best about Alma SIS? The ability to run comprehensive yet customizable reports for almost every single need. What do you dislike about Alma SIS? State reporting can sometimes be wonky, but that is not specific to Alma. What problems is Alma SIS solving and how is that benefiting you? Alma is the system we use for student attendance tracking, grade book, reporting on all levels, re-registration, and e-mail communication with parents.

"Average at best."

What do you like best? Alma is great for attendance and organizing information for each student. Their support team is also very responsive and excellent for answering questions and troubleshooting issues that arise, and I like that you don't have to call them. What do you dislike? Alma's progress report system is extremely clunky and frustrating, and there are features that could be implemented to make things easier but they aren't open to beta testing. "A school must have"

What do you like best? Alma is very easy to use. My work/school uses it to take daily attendance of our students. What do you dislike? Sometimes it will wipe your daily attendance and you'll need to input it again. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It also stores all of our students contact information and makes it easy to send out a mass email.

"Library"

What do you like best? This software application is being well used to simplify and streamline the workflow of a particular student and communication and on the other hand it will help the schools to improve their efficiency in their operations. "Management of grading and issuance of report cards."

What do you like best? Impressive how the facepage has everything needed for information of a student just by clicking the name of the student and you are able to see the parents, attendance history, report card details, disciplinary information and so much more. What do you dislike? It doesnt keep record of the emails sent to the parents and students something that is very important but missing. "Ease of Use"

What do you like best? It is easy to find grades and class rosters. The menu is user friendly, which is especially good for teachers that struggle technologically. I like being able to find information on each student, including home phone numbers and siblings in the school. I love that everything we need for school on a day to day basis is easily accesible, including the school calendar. I love how easy it is to upload comments for report cards and progress reports. "Alma is the best!"

What do you like best? Alma is a great program. It is user friendly and the online staff is available anytime with a quick response. What do you dislike? I would like to be able to create my own reports by choosing the fields I choose. Recommendations to others considering the product: Alma is wonderful. You should definately consider it. What do you like best? Alma's interface is user-friendly and intuitive. You can find multiple points of information in one place. What do you dislike?
