I have used flexport several times and…

I have used flexport several times and they always add unexpected fees that add up to about 25% higher than their advertised price. However, my last shipment was a whole new level of BS. They quoted me under 5k and then charged me $13k dollars. And they charge you right when they share the invoice. I'm so pissed off. What a sleazy company

Slow and expensive

I went online and made a quote request, no response so I had to call them to follow up. When I did get the rates they were .15/kg more expensive with a slower transit time. But it was all inconsequential as the client booked elsewhere. We were just too slow ! Thanks for nothing flexport.

Poor Customer Service. Excessive Costs Incurred.

The overall shipping, tracking and customs clearance experience was ok. Problems arose with renewing a U.S. Continuous Import Bond. I paid the full bond renewal fee via the flexport platform and received email confirmation from the bond support representative; however, 5 weeks later when the shipment arrived, the bond showed expired. As a result, I incurred an additional Single Entry Bond fee in addition to the continuous bond fee previously incurred. The service and management reps showed ...

Was looking forward to simplifying our incoming container/freight process with flexport and that did not happen. They tell you what you want to hear once you agree to do business then everything changes. There is no customer service, if you have a questions that you would like to speak to someone about you must schedule an appointment at their convenience which all reps we ever talked to were on east coast time. Pretty bad experience right off the bat. Submitted a quote reques. They said I’d receive a quote in 24 hours. Waited for two days... nothing, crickets. I called them and I was forwarded to a voicemail. Left a message, a few days later still nothing. Called again, I was advised to send an email. I finally got a response asking about the volume of the shipment. Apparently, 6-10 shipments per year are not big enough for them.
