I bought a video editing program called…

I bought a video editing program called Freemake. It was a subscription with recuring repayment every 3 years. I tried to cancel the subscription but it just resulted in an error saying "The subscription was possibly not cancelled". I cancelled the payment with Paypal instead.

Abysmal customer service

Given that you pay a lot of money to use their service their customer service is the worst I've ever had. There is no chat support, response time is in days, and the documentation is badly written for non programmers. If you can find any alternative, don't use this company.

FastSpring is a scammer company

This a scammer company. I had paid $69.62 for Rankmath Pro via FastSpring, but the transaction was not shown as successful from their end and my money got deducted and not received the product also.Now when I'm asking them to provide me a full refund, they are just ignoring the matter.Stay far from this fraud company.

Billed 100 Euros too much - I didnt order this

I have tried to buy a product via fastspring (Capture One Pro). I wasnt shure which bundle to buy and tried out options. There were rebates and my Vat was deducted (which is good), so I tried to see what price I would end up with. I was surprised to get a very good offer and hit "Buy for 197 Euros". I have been a vendor with FastSpring…

I have been a vendor with FastSpring for more than 10 years and have received no complaints from my customers. FastSpring saved me when all the Software Resellers were aquired by Digital River and I had to close my accounts with them. Regarding the recent complaint raised by Kai, I also had the same problem initially. But then I found out that Hyperwallet is in fact better than PayPal. No customer support at all

I tried a couple of times to make payment via FastSpring using Paypal. When this did not work, I contacted their support once. I didn't get a reply on that contact. A few days later, the seller asked me to contact FastSpring again, which I did on 21 Oct. On 28 Oct I received a message from FastSpring: "We are writing to let you know that your case, 00967761, has been closed." - nothing more, no explanations, no support at all.

Happy using FastSpring

What do you like best? 1) Payment aggregation 2) Sales Tax Handling 3) Relatively easy setup and integrations 4) Optimal service fee (compared to close competitors) for micropayments (<10$/transaction) What do you dislike? FastSpring were extremely helpful to get my product to market with a lot of advise and patience

What do you like best? Fastspring have a very fair price model and they gave advise, nudging me when I got stuck. Even though finishing the last bits of my product, they didn't give up nudging me with the right questions to get me over the hump. What do you dislike? I will have to see, how well I can personalise the view. The only straightforward eCommerce Solution for your Static website

What do you like best? Simple and powerful, no need to have a PayPal account and wired transfers are enabled for Europe. No worries about taxes. Excellent. What do you dislike? Implementation process was amazingly quick and well-supported

What do you like best? Being able to have global sales tax/VAT collection and payments to all the various countries is a huge burden lifted.
