Intuitive software

PROS: Epic gives me a complete overview of our hospital's patient capacity. It doesn't make it hard for users to find the information they need, such as a certain patient's chart. Thumbs-up to this program for being user-friendly. CONS: I can't think of anything that I dislike about Epic.

What do you like best about Epic? I love the user interface and usability with EPIC. Everything you need is on one page with Epic, and anything that you need to find can easily be searched for using the search feature. What do you dislike about Epic? To be honest, not much. Easy-to-use software

PROS: Epic helps us avoid double entry for charts. It also offers visibility into different areas at once and it saves us time from data entry too. CONS: Some times I can't tell whether an order has been acted upon. Our floor staff is also complaining that they cannot see our orders so our department has to do it the traditional way.

What do you like best about Epic? I appreciate the fact that I can look up patient information from previous visits in addition to looking up future ideas about how we will care for the patient. In addition, I can do all my charting in one place with the quick tabs. I can also customize how I want my screen to pop up every day. What do you dislike about Epic? What do you like best about Epic? The EMR is extremely easy to use and the most intuitive. The RCM capabilities are second to no and will automatically create needed accruals. The system also has easy-to-digest automated executive dashboards. What do you dislike about Epic? The product is the highest cost on the market by a significant margin and doesn't have many customization options, but that is part of its success. What do you like best about Epic? Care everywhere, quick chart completion, interface is very customizable. There is more than one way to do everything which at times is a downside but often an advantage. Many parts are customizable and you can show/hide many different options. Sophisticated and well-designed healthcare application

PROS: I rely on Epic to schedule procedures to make sure their rest and care are not disrupted. It is also a good tool for keeping track of physical assessments and laboratory tests and other things that need to be done concerning the healthcare of patients. CONS: I encountered several issues with Epic, particularly with the travel screening step. The system should automatically disregard symptoms if the answer is no. Intuitive EMR application

PROS: I am a medical student undergoing training in a hospital. I am still learning how things operate and Epic is helpful in that regard. It is intuitive so I do not have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to use it. With it, I can find patients' records, write notes, and search for labs and imaging studies speedily. I like how it employes NoteWriter in the records because it allows us to use templates and to graphically show the symptoms and physical exam results of patients. ...
