Excellent support

I have had to request help for problems with EndNote on two occasions. EndNote responded promptly, both times. One problem had an easy fix that was suggested by email (and solved my problem), while my other problem was much more complicated. For the complicated problem, someone scheduled an appointment to work with me within a few days. The EndNote person was infinitely patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. We probably spent 2½ hours working together. Very thorough. I was quite satisfied ...

Long-Time researcher

I have been using EndNote since 1995. It was an inherently important part of my doctoral research. The ability to create multiple libraries was important. The ability to change format styles is very important as I present and publish papers in different venues. There as more features in EndNotes that I do not use, but I have not had the time to really did deep into the latest version.

ENDNOTE is good but room for improvement exists.

ENDNOTE can help organize thousands of references and conduct Boolean searches even within PDF files. The ability to FIND FULL TEXT works only about 50% of the time. There is no AI option to summarize content in one or more PDF files. CiteWhileYouWrite works ok with WORD, but annoying "bugs" exist.

Useful, but frustrating to deal with Clarivate.

I find EndNote to be extremely useful, but the company seems to be getting greedy and is extremely unresponsive to user input. They capriciously take away features in new versions that were in older versions, like the ability to hide unused fields. Why would anyone take that away? Why can't I share certain libraries with other users, not just one library for everything? Etc. Etc.

Repeated problems with no meaningful customer service

I have had repeated problems with the program but have just given up trying to talk to official Endnote representatives. The service I have received is very limited and poor--I got more help from just googling and finding other consumer responses. I'm still struggling just to utilize the program. Outsourcing your consumer representatives is both offensive and ineffective.

Let writing be a pleasure again, use Endnote

A great research tool makes writing a pleasure, not a chore. Stores all of my references and articles in one place that I can access anywhere in the world.
