Excellent Product!

What do you like best? Fordham uses Ellucian to run their degree works accounts which helps students track their credits and progress towards graduation. Every student is automatically issued an account and it is so helpful to see what classes still need to be taken and what requirements have already been filled. What do you dislike? It is slightly difficult to figure out how to use the "what if" feature to determine what classes one would need to take to graduate with certain majors ...

Robust program

What do you like best? As with any software that can be defined as "robust" there is a learning curve. However, the end result delivers. The software is robust and powerful. What do you dislike? This product does have a large learning curve. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We utilize Banner by Ellucian for our finance, student AR, finance, and payroll systems.

One of the top higher education software

What do you like best? It is a reputable company that has gone through some changes. That being said they do strive to stay on the cutting edge of technology. Their support teams are pretty good. Incumbent but not beloved

What do you like best? Ellucian has a huge footprint in the industry, and there are talented consultants available to help with implementations and upgrades. (Which is necessary, because the product is sprawling, and new customers will NOT be able to manage it on their own.) There's also a strong community of users who help support each other. What do you like best? I use the Colleauge aspect of ellucian & their interfaces are pretty standard What do you dislike? What do you like best? This software, and the newest update, has made accounting a breeze. The financial system allows me to easily see where any reconciling item may be, and allows me reference codes so I may gather further detail. The new capability of using Chrome is a great feature as well because our entire organization is comfortable with the format. What do you dislike? Cost would be by far the biggest issue.
