Dundas - Unique modern BI platform in many ways.

What do you like best? Offers a lot of possibilities to implement data visualization. An open API that could define any kind of navigation within the visualization. What do you dislike? Not-so-stable project migration/copy/move process; lack batch process for some minor things; and not enough scripting examples or materials. Recommendations to others considering the product: Spend more time playing around with Dundas and familiarizing yourself with it. Don't be scared by its ...

Three years with Dundas and not looking back

What do you like best? Everything is configurable. I like the versatility of the visualizations. What do you dislike? This is hard to answer. The software is doing everything our company needs it to do. I know it sounds like I'm a fanboy, but I guess I'm a fanboy for a reason. Recommendations to others considering the product: Our company uses Microsoft products including SQL Server. The setup is a breeze. Get the free trial, learn what hierarchies and measures are and build ...

Easy to use but with complexity available

What do you like best? Easy and intuitive ETL and dashboard vizualization using the UI. Highly customisable via the APIs and JavaScript. What do you dislike? Still early version so some very specific things are still not possible. Some of the UI can be confusing particularly with user managements What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Providing custom market research dashboards to our clients

Up and Running Fast, Lots of Features, Great Support and Plenty of Training Opportunities

What do you like best? We were very impressed by the ease of set up, how quickly we were able to produce great visualizations, and the pricing is very flexible and reasonable. The initial setup support was great and getting up and running took just a few hours, including exposing to external connections. What do you dislike? Although the dashboard development process is a breeze, the text reporting development tools require a large time investment. We were hoping to stop using SSRS by ...

Versatile Dashboard Tool

What do you like best? Ease of use, highly customizable for the technically inclined but coding skills not required to make professional dashboards. What do you dislike? I wish I could customize my dashboard toolbar which is a small deal and probably only affects super users. Recommendations to others considering the product: Dundas BI competes with the big dogs and in our evaluation was a much better price performer. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Flexible quality product

What do you like best? The visualisations and the in memory data load. The visualisations are excellent. What do you dislike? It often requires a fair bit of Java script to get a clear filters button working. I suppose that flexibility comes at a small price. Recommendations to others considering the product: Some Java script knowledge required. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Integration of dashboards with an application.
