Drupal is nice
What do you like best? I like that literally anyone can build a website. I took an 8 hour workshop and learned how to set one up from scratch. You can make custom content types and pull in certain pages for a news feed without help from a developer. What do you dislike? I dislike when upgrades would break some things but this was due to custom modules. Recommendations to others considering the product: Do your research but talk to vendors and get recommendation to help find the ...

Definitely not a cohesive product
What do you like best? I guess the product has iterations over the years as an complex evolved CMS but the overall tough learning curve it brings to the table is of no use in the modern world. No reason to say it is the best. What do you dislike? Learning curve, Administrations skills, tonnes of wiki to search on issues, Issues do not resolve via patches as are windows products. from a CMS point of view maybe it has all the features but not all of the necessities to offset an ...

The CMS when for when you need to be able to do anything.
What do you like best? Drupal is very flexible and incredible at scale. With the latest version it can integrate with about anything that is out there. There is a huge collection of community contributed modules that are security reviewed and ready for use without much in the way of developer interaction. Not all developers agree, but I find it to be easy to work with and quick to build. What do you dislike? Drupal, while scalable, is a bit of a beast to manage at times. The default ...

Great tools but developer knowledge needed
What do you like best? Druppal offers a wide range of layout and functionality options, and, once set up is easy to use. What do you dislike? You really need developer knowledge to use many of it's more robust features. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We were able to streamline and simplify our content changes and updates

Drupal Web CMS for Small and Mid Size Sites
What do you like best? Drupal web content management has an easy to manage admin panel to manage content, media assets, and publishing capabilities is not less than any enterprise web content management system. I find it useful to set up work flow, content publishing calendar and create authority hierarchy. Drupal has also a very useful mobile platform compatible platform that support mobile devices. What do you dislike? Drupal's WISWIG is not how should a function work. Drupal lacks ...

Customizable
What do you like best? Templates could be easily customized to fit the site's needs. What do you dislike? Not the most intuitive for content editors. WYSIWYG editing was not always functional to the extent needed and required extra steps. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Supported a content heavy site that could be customized to specific programs.

Takes a while to save content blocks when they are updating. Recommendations to others considering the product: Hire a web specialist trained with Drupal or similiar softwares. A website CMS with extensive page design and advanced management capabilities
What do you like best? Compared to WordPress, which seems to be one of the more popular open source content management systems, Drupal has far more flexibility due to its core database and PHP structure and is geared more for complete website designing and not as much for blogs like WordPress. I like that I can adjust panels in an intuitive way with visual editing tools and connect components without many compatibility issues. Many of the templates that are available from the Drupal ...

Swiss army knife for websites
What do you like best? Drupal is very customisable; with the right modules and plugins, you can almost do anything you want. What do you dislike? It is very bare out of the box; you will need heavy customisation to make it do what you want, unlike other user friendly systems like WordPress. The rich text editor is not as good, missing many functions and usability. Most of the useful functionalities have to be added in via modules, but the modules are hard to find and support is even ...
