Excellent Spidering and Content Extraction

What do you like best? Crawlbot paired with Diffbot's extraction api saved us thousands of hours when acquiring web data for research and implementing consulting projects. What do you dislike? Occasionally, when looking to update content from previously crawled URL's diffbot would be inconsistent. While this was not frequent, and we were able to find work arounds, we were never able to successfully trouble shoot the issues. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Diffbot was extremely helpful, attentive, and responsive to meet my business' custom needs.

What do you like best? Diffbot provides a simple, well documented API that allows for mind-boggling web scraping with brain-dead code. By finding what's important on nearly every kind of webpage, Diffbot helped launch my project further than I could have imagined, saving me hours writing code which would have only been able to understand a few websites. What do you dislike? One suggestion for them is, there are probably individuals/small businesses out there that can't afford the ...

Scale-able and largely hands-off web extraction for the win!

What do you like best? Diffbot is powerful and simple to use. Users from basic to advanced levels of technical expertise can use Diffbot and extract content from the web with ease. Diffbot is highly scale-able because it is so easy to extract content from the web. The pricing is better than other software we have used before. The customer support has been superb. We almost always receive responses from the support team within 24 hours after their submission. The support team works hard to ...

Diffbot is really easy to use and brought immediate value to my project

What do you like best? There are mulitple ways to "extract" data with Diffbot. We use the Knowledge Graph (which doesn't really require any knowledge of extraction or web scraping on our end) for exploratory analysis. And for more redudent scrapes the automatic extraction API. Solid documentation and the knowledge graph works right out of the box. What do you dislike? There is a bit of a learning curve with DQL What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Solid data and comprehensive API access

What do you like best? I like that Diffbot shows sources of data and confidence in its inferences. API is well-thought-through and well-documented. Support is excellent and the initial setup was straight-forward. Both UI and programmatic access work as expected. The company is constantly working on new features and improvements and includes its customers into the prioritization process. What do you dislike? Not much to dislike. Looking forward to new features, e.g. alerts on data ...

I recommend Diffbot knowledge graph to a company at least twice a month.

What do you like best? It's scale and simplicity of use. It basically puts the world largest database of people, places and companies behind a SQL like query engine that anyone can use. What do you dislike? Their website doesn't do a great job of explaining the product, and they don't have clear usecases. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? You can answer such a large variety of questions using knowledge graph that pinning down one ...

Diffbot helped us bring our product to market in under a month.

What do you like best? Before using Diffbot, we considered building our own scraping system. This would have cost us at least 4 weeks of development time up-front and 1-2 days of maintenance cost on a monthly basis. The time itself is valuable, but even more so when considering the opportunity cost of what that time could be spent doing in an early-stage startup. After integrating Diffbot, we have that time back to building our business, developing exciting features for our customers ...

Diffbot's Knowledge Graph is a powerful tool for sales, analytics, and market research

What do you like best? The ability to enhance my existing data. I have company information imported from other sources such as Crunchbase. With a simple script in Google Sheets, I was able to enhance the company information with things like employee skills, common employee titles, technology stack used, and recent articles about the company. As a result, I was able to better prioritize my leads and quickly filter out the unqualified ones, saving me time. The ease of finding new leads. I ...

Diffbot's Knowledge Graph is truly a web-scale database you can query

What do you like best? The KG is amazingly comprehensive. Products, people, corporations, and more all linked together in a contextual way. KG provides a user friendly way of feeling like you've scraped the whole web. No custom scraping rules, no need to figure out the nuances of where information is housed online. Just query and see if what you're looking for is on the public web. Finally, export features are great. You can export to CSV or JSON. I believe there are also a host of ...
