"Great at what it's good at, clunky where it's not"

What do you like best about DbVisualizer? The wizard is awesome, and it takes no time at all to set up ssh tunnels and connect to databases. The side bar navigator is fast and easy to use. The commit and rollback buttons are right where you'd expect and it is all really smooth.

"Very good database client to work with MySQL and PostgreSQL"

What do you like best about DbVisualizer? I started using DbVisualizer at first as it has a free version. I have been using it for some time to work on MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. I like it because it is very balanced in CPU and memory usage. Its graphical interface is very simple and it is very fast to execute the queries against the databases.

"Nice choice as DB Client"

What do you like best about DbVisualizer? I like it is multiplatform, easy to use and I have not had any problems while using it. Actually, I don't know how the support team performs, I have not used it in two years. No software product is perfect, I am aware, but I have not met any promblem with DbVisualizer, for the moment.

"The DBA's Swiss Army Knife"

What do you like best about DbVisualizer? DbVis has an excellent table/query browser with advanced display, export, filtering capability, a powerful table editor, great transaction control, great import capabilities, and tools to navigate physical database structure. One can "sling" data between databases of varying types with ease, even LARGE data sets, if necessary. It's not an ETL tool. It is a practical DBA's Swiss Army knife. The DBA functionality per-database vendor is handy.
