"Easy to use but low functionality"
What do you like best about DBeaver? Very easy to use and also easy to set up and install. The tool is self-explanatory and has a very good usability. It's very good for small projects. What do you dislike about DBeaver? Making multiple connections to different databases is painful and selecting a main database to use can create problems. However what's by far the worst about the tool is that it has no query compiler, meaning that if your query has an error at some point you will have to ...

"Great open-source Teradata Client"
What do you like best about DBeaver? I use other Teradata clients. I like the visualizations best. It definitely surpasses other clients. Being able to see how the tables connect in the Irwin diagram is priceless; really helps with development work. What do you dislike about DBeaver? It can sometimes be slow; gui layout is not very "Windows" standard; so for Windows users just be prepared to learn non standard layout Recommendations to others considering DBeaver: If you are needing to ...

"Great free DB Navigator"
What do you like best about DBeaver? I like that you can connect DBeaver to many different DBs unlike the Teradata nav or HeidiSQL. Also, way better than using a CLI What do you dislike about DBeaver? It can be slow and buggy at times when you're querying a bunch of data What problems is DBeaver solving and how is that benefiting you? Having one program to easily access different DBs with different credentials

"Eye-friendly UI with poorly thought out essentials "
What do you like best about DBeaver? it is really useful to be able to pull fields after coding what table you'll be using, streamlines query writing. connecting to drivers is also easy What do you dislike about DBeaver? Basically everything. It's impossible to abort a query (at least for apache hive) by any method other than crashing the program all-together. dbeaver for hive doesn't support a history log, so it's up to you to separately log all queries or you're out of luck. Takes forever ...

"Reasonably fast, functional and simplistic tool for almost any database"
What do you like best about DBeaver? - the software works comparably fast even with 10+ tabs open - pretty syntax highlighting - autocomplete lets the user type less and get your query composed much quicker - the result set allows the user to view multiple result rows (horizontal) vs one row at a time (vertical, transposed), this is very suitable for quick visual search in large rows - convenient row editing/deletion on the fly using the "save" button - it is easy to run SQL scripts with ...

"Most convenient Sql tool"
What do you like best about DBeaver? It is very user friendly. Can connect any database. Very easy to use. Look and feel is very similar to Eclipse IDE which is very convenient for developers. Very light weight. Always gives prompts before running any query without where clause. What do you dislike about DBeaver? Not much that I dislike about the product just one thing that it is not very widely used in organisations. What problems is DBeaver solving and how is that benefiting ...

"DBeaver sql client, many options for many databases"
What do you like best about DBeaver? DBeaver is great because it's constantly being improved, with new features, bug-fixes, and data connectors for the next-generation databases (either on-prem or cloud). Alerts and notifications about updates are weekly, and can be applied without negative impact on your working scripts, saved connections, or resource consumption to the developer's machine. If you consider the low cost of entry - it's the perfect starting place. What do you dislike about ...

"Managing SQL for Free"
What do you like best about DBeaver? It's free and it works! Simply as that, I have struggled for years try to find in vain an SQL manager that works with all my engines, and when I heard about DBeaver, I though, why not, at the end, the only that I would may lose is time. But I was really surprised when I founf out that I was able to use MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite at the same time, and with the auto-completion feature for all the mapped databases no matter the engine. What do you dislike ...
