"Best tool available when catalogimng archived film media"
What do you like best about Daminion? User interface and functions for data entry are very intuitive: people (who), category (what). place (where), event (why), and when. Since film media has no electronic produced metadata, the Daminion app is perfect for :adding such metadata to your catalog.

"The easiest DAM for me."
What do you like best about Daminion? I have found over some years that it serves all my needs for tagging and keywording, as my photo/video collection has grown it still holds true. For me the stand alone version is important, as I do not always have internet or mobile access. Have tried the keyword/tagging in a variety of photo software, ie Lightroom, ZonerPhoto, Elements etc, they are OK but lack the strength of Daminion.

"Custom tagging and tags staying with file are unrivaled across similiar programs!"
What do you like best about Daminion? We created our own custom tag tree and the ability to search by these categories have made our salespeople head and shoulders over the competition . Our designing department can show a potential client exactly what is available in seconds! And because the tags stay with the file, we can transfer files to other computers. We often are in areas without internet so the stand alone program is PERFECT for us!

What do you like best about Daminion? Daminion is fast and reliable.I'm using it for a long time now and it never had failed. The way you can search your images is great. It's very time saving that you can process any images from within Daminion.

What do you like best about Daminion? The thing that I like best about Daminion is it's ability to batch write tags and other vital information directly into a file i.e. meta-data etc.

What do you like best about Daminion? Daminion very flexible: [1] allows to import all sorts of files: text files (like PDF), pictures, sound bits, movies... and retrieve them selecting whatever search option is convenient: import date, file type, keywords (tags)...
