Best service for testing
What do you like best? My organization usually deals with the website requirements given by the clients. We require to deliver all tested products so that our client can be happy and reliable on us. Cypress has been very helpful with that to us, the best part is that we can even programmatically handle the UI widgets and it also lets us take control on the network requests. What do you dislike? There is a different custom section also for which a user is required to complete some ...

Awesome, easy to use
What do you like best? It is the easiest automation framework to implement and use, the ease of use of getting up and running with automated testing is one of the best things about it. Impressive (and intuitive UI/UX. Tests are simple to write What do you dislike? Doesnt support browsers other than Chrome and even then I get random OOM and crashes while running e2e tests with many steps. Still lacks support for cross browser testing What problems are you solving with the product? ...

Cypress great for webapp end to end and functional testing.
What do you like best? The framework is fully bundled, it has a test runner, selectors that replace the need for selenium, comparison methods. That is not all, It can also intercept the network traffic and mock the server responses giving the app a predictable state for validation. What do you dislike? The development / QA management community has not quite yet caught on to the power and ease of use of cypress over the proven selenium based frameworks. What problems are you solving ...

Most Simplified Software
What do you like best? Easy to set up and use for frontend developers. I love the little details. Much better than a protractor. It's probably the best e2e testing frameworks that exists. What do you dislike? Doesn't come built in to angular. So, have to make some extra effort to keep up with the work. No cross-browser testing. IMHO this is not a big deal for our product, but with Cypress you can only test on Chrome and Elektron, not on IE, FF, etc. Recommendations to others ...

Seamless automation
What do you like best? The amazing ease of setup and low overhead. Very powerful and refreshing, to find a tool that just works is very rare nowadays. I love the script readability that can be provided to other team members to help them create scripts easily too. Incorporating into CI/CD tools also feels so much easier. What do you dislike? Not much right now :) I guess the true test is in time. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

I love Cypress
What do you like best? I like writing tests for my interfaces no matter what technology I'm using, if it runs on the web I can test it with Cypress. I also like that I can find a lot of things that would otherwise fail on the user's hands. What do you dislike? It may or not be something I dislike but it could exist more information, documentation or tutorials on how to set up bigger apps, ranging user logins, different backend features, etc ... Recommendations to others considering ...

Impressed that Cypress delivers on the promise!
What do you like best? It just works! I’ve not had issues testing and the documentation is great! This is the first e2e testing framework that works so well. What do you dislike? I would like more “best practices” in the documentation What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? E2e testing and soon come/cd integration

Cypress is the tool we have all been waiting for
What do you like best? My favorite thing about Cypress is that the APIs work as I expect them to. With Cypress, I really only need to bring in one tool to write all my integration tests, without having to pull in a bunch of other support libraries. What do you dislike? Only thing I don't like is that certain browser tasks are hard to test with Cypress, like downloading content and performing drag-and-drop. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you are building ...

Great e2e development experience
What do you like best? I am a full stack developer, and had some experience trying to implement automation test for mobile and web applications. It was always hard to accomplish, not easy and also not stable at all. Cypress is great for web developers, its 100% based on js and having some experience with js and jquery, you will be able to write your test with not much problems Another really good feature is the documentation. In my experience, with my team, we were able to find all ...
