The most intuitive E2E testing tool
What do you like best? - the documentation is insanely good - the Cypress GUI - the describe-it syntax is a very nice idea - the fact that we can add custom Cypress commands and Chai assertions to make specs easier to write and read - spying on XHR requests - a reactive community (Twitter/GitHub) What do you dislike? Honestly I don't know, maybe when you have failing tests on CI service (like Travis) and you don't know what failed. But Cypress provide a dashboard on ...

Cypress: My go to testing tool for the web
What do you like best? For me, the automatic waiting and easy to debug functionality is what makes me so in love with Cypress. I do not have to worry myself about the whole async issues and also, right within my chrome dev tools, I can easily debug my code. Thats a great feature for me. What do you dislike? I have tried using Cypress with other browsers aside Chrome but I have really found it difficult working with it. I think Cypress needs to also cater for that cross browser ...

No excuse anymore for bad Test coverage
What do you like best? Cypress is a great End-2-End-Testing Environment for Web Applications. New Test Developers can create their own Tests in a very short time. It's enjoyable and easy to use also for complex Web Applications. What do you dislike? I am missing the possibility to add extended Header parameters for PATCH Requests. I've found an Open Github Issue about this. I have no doubt that this will be solved soon. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you are ...

An amazing testing tool
What do you like best? I love the Cypress commitment to simplify the UI testing flow. The documentation is perfect, and it explains wisely why Cypress has been built and what differentiates it from the other market solutions. I used, for a lot of time, Puppeteer and Selenium in the past and I can tell you that Cypress is a better tool for UI testing. What do you dislike? It has too much unclosed issues. Some of them are important What problems are you solving with the product? ...

Cypress is the testing software I always wanted to use
What do you like best? Cypress's interface makes testing a more interactive and approachable experience. What do you dislike? I'm excited about their roadmap and am pumped for Cypress to be able to hook into native form submissions. Recommendations to others considering the product: You must at least give it a try. You can easily get a working PoC in a day. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Cypress supports our company website by ...

Amazing E2E testing tool
What do you like best? This is currently the industry standard way to write E2E test in my opinion in 2019. It is an absolute upgrade over the old days of selenium. And it is very easy to start using. What do you dislike? I do not dislike anything about it, They are heading in the right direction. Wishing them luck. Recommendations to others considering the product: Go for it What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? For writing ...

Big fan of Cypress for end-to-end testing
What do you like best? The documentation is amazing. The language they use makes it so easy to understand and implement into your application. I am a big fan. I also love that it's open source :) What do you dislike? - can't test iframes - can't clear cookies multiple sites - wish there was more documentation on integrating Cypress into CICD pipelines What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We're trying to mimic how users use our app ...

Amazing Experience
What do you like best? I love how easy it is to write the tests in cypress and also the time travel feature to see the state of the app at each step of the testing process. What do you dislike? Sometimes if something doesn't work when it's running in the CI it's hard to see what exactly failed. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Every card we pass must have e2e tests against it. It has really made us much more confident that our app is ...
