Really great tool for E2E testing
What do you like best? Easy setup with the different browser and CI, easy async testing of components What do you dislike? Nothing. Probably sometimes the tests doesn't reload correctly, and we need to re-open the Cypress UI. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We needed to add E2E testing to our applications. We previously tried to setup other tools but the setup was long and writing tests took too much time. The environment and ...

Move fast - Don't break things
What do you like best? Low barrier to entry. Test syntax is easy to read. What do you dislike? Doesn't currently support IE or Safari. Although the addition of FireFox support in v4 is a great step in the right direction. Recommendations to others considering the product: Better integration with Azure Active Directory & MSAL. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Before cypress we only had Unit & E2E test suites. This meant we had ...

A huge step up from Selenium
What do you like best? Not having to litter my automation with webdriverwaits What do you dislike? Memory leaks during usage (primarily caused by Chrome) Recommendations to others considering the product: Consider the paid dashboard if you need parallelization. It makes implementation a breeze. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I'm able to develop automation much quicker in a way that's less dependent on the environment. Built ...

We started testing our microservices with Cypress and it's really awesome
What do you like best? Mocking, API, and e2e testing functionality What do you dislike? I think parallel execution and pricing model can be more transparent What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's easy to do automation of microservices with one tool in different parts. With awesome documentation this is super cool

Writing tests never been so easy!
What do you like best? The most helpful for me is possibility to stub requests. I have very complicated product on the backend and setup is very painful. Plugin system is also awesome. I can pick which extensions to install and use. What do you dislike? I don't think that there is anything in Cypress to dislike. Well, the integration with Firefox...I've been waiting for it since the very beginning :) The Cypress team confirms on monthly basis that they are so close...year after year. ...

The software provides better and faster and more reliable tests than other competing software.
What do you like best? I love reporting! I love documentation! Reading and understanding is simple. Most solutions are made available instantly and plugins are available for deeper research. What do you dislike? I can't persuade my QA Manager to do all the research that Cypress needs. He wants a single instrument to measure all rates. The support of the cross-browser is working on, but currently is not available. Recommendations to others considering the product: For all their ...

What do you like best? It is pretty descriptive the way you write the tests and the inspector is amazing <3 What do you dislike? Is not available for Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Write e2e tests with ease and it has amazing features like Time travel, Real-time reloads, Spies and stubs. It is simply incredible.

A dedicated environment for complete browser testing and UI TDD
What do you like best? I love the way Cypress can handle TDD. It can replace opening Chrome on its own completely. The tests are intuitive to write, have simple API and their execution is so fast that probably 99% of the features are faster to implement by writing a test first than to manually interact with the browser. API stubbing is great too because it allows creating an isolated environment that does not touch the backend API. This can provide an additional layer of security and ...

It would be nice to see firefox integration in the future What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Fast and reliable tests!
