Full featured graphic design and illustration software

What do you like best? CorelDraw can open and edit just about any vector art file. VERY handy! And it can Save As or Export to virtually any graphic file format you can think of! What do you dislike? A few of the tool bars are little confusing, but after a bit of familiarity that wears off. Recommendations to others considering the product Kind of expensive, but worth it if you need a powerful graphics editor. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Great for beginners

What do you like best? Very easy tools... easy to understand, a lot of tools, great for beginners. What do you dislike? So slow... this software require a lot of patience... it's too slow when you use more than one tool. Recommendations to others considering the product You should be very clear that this is a software to use at home, in small offices, very basic and useful but do not expect the same tools of Photoshop or Illustrator. What business problems are you solving with the ...

Corel Draw

What do you like best? Corel is best known for its speed versus its competitor, Adobe Illustrator. Foer every single step command in Corel takes two to three steps in Illustrator. Corel is also superior in importing and exporting into many other graphic formats. It has superb accuracy up to four decimal places, and has excellent dimensioning tools. What do you dislike? The only thing I would add to Corel would be an arc measurement tool. Recommendations to others considering the product ...

The Pros and Cons of using Corel's Graphic Suites for Windows

What do you like best? Corel has been around for as long as any other major graphics package and has progressed close behind Adobe products (deservedly regarded as the de facto industry standard for artists and is therefore a perfect solution for many types of users and needs. That said, it is no exaggeration to say that if you are or become a constant corel graphics user you can all but forget Photoshop for most uses, with no loss as to professional results. It handles most anything you ...

An illustrator's experience

What do you like best? I like that CorelDraw is more economically feasible for smaller firms and individuals than its biggest competitor, Adobe Illustrator. I am really impressed with CorelDraw 8 supports ultra HD 4k monitors. What do you dislike? Because Adobe Illustrator is essentially the industry standard, sending cdr files isn't recommended. As such making sure to properly save your files in a readable format is more a priority than with Illustrator. However, this is no majour point ...

The Classic Software for the Graphic Designers

What do you like best? The precision that gives you for the alignment and adjust of objects. When you use the alignment of objects, these are aligned with the last selected object, wich allows you to easily control their positioning in the created document. Also you have quick keys for align. For adjust objects in Corel you can move and bring objects closer to others in such a way that they adjust or alternate beetwen them. What do you dislike? It has to many preset effects and ...

Best Vector Program I've Ever Used

What do you like best? I used to use Illustrator - but I was introduced to CorelDraw back in 2008 by a friend who works in the sign industry. Since then, I have found CorelDraw to be far more intuitive and user friendly as a vector based program. I also like that it communicated across various platforms, as you can export your project into just about any file format. I now use this program for 95% of all design projects - with Photoshop picking up the 5% slack for it's photo editing ...
