remote command line, file transfer, MFA, many great features.

I use ConnectWise control for some administration and our employees use it for remote access. This program delivers a remote desktop experience with many more features than some others I use. Sending individual commands to cmd.exe without even opening a full session is very useful. Using [Backstage] is also very useful. I appreciate being able to take screenshots, recording the monitor output, and easily transferring files to and from the guest. MFA is appreciated - thank you!

Happy with ConnectWise

We switched to ConnectWise a year and a half ago. We moved close to 500 screens over. We have been very satisfied and some features such as the Command Prompt from the Main screen and the individual screen low bandwidth screenshots are great and very useful. Way better than our previous platform. We also script some Groups and that is very useful for organization. The same screens can be grouped multiple ways. Recommend!

Disparate features in support and access

Some of the plugins and features that are restricted to Access licenses only (remote deployment, reports, for example) would greatly enhance the value of Connectwise Control. The division between support and access license features makes me have to decide between the two options, and either maintain two separate licenses (which I won't do), or pick whichever option has the better features, and accept that I'll miss some.

Convenience and control

I'm a one-person IT dept for an organization with over 150 users. I absolutely love the convenience of ConnectWise. It is great being able to help users from anywhere I have an internet connection. The only issue I've ever had was a time when I needed to elevate permissions and the program wouldn't let me. Other than that it has been flawless and I wouldn't do without it.

Great option, room for improvement.

Overall, this is one of our top picks for remote management of workstations, servers, etc. The management UI is great, provided functions and tools are great. Deployment options are all straight forward, quick, and about as easy as it's going to get. Where it falls short:The connectwise screen connect control interface is not consistent across platform. The price is right

The price is right. However no native application means you're at the mercy of the web browser on a clunky remote application. The mobile app is just shamefully bad.
