Great CMS for 80% of websites on the web.

What do you like best? Concrete5 easy of use for the end user is it clam to fame. Very easy on page editing and can build out more complex pages using custom attributes. What do you dislike? From a development stand point, concrete5 can be hard to use for 3 or more developers on a project. S There is no syncing process between local development environments and remote environments this can cause issues on large projects. Also scaling the CMS for very large project (250+ plus pages ...

Quick review on Concrete5

What do you like best? Concrete5 comes with a big jump. From the ground up developed as a blogging software. Concrete5 was originally created as a way to quickly and easily design and build a website. The platform has enough functionality out-of-the-box allowing to build any kinds of websites as well. What do you dislike? While Concrete5 is considered to be very easy, some steps can be more detailed, and vary depending on the specific theme or plugin you are using. What business problems ...

Helpful software to manage website for you or your clients.

What do you like best? Drag and drop features. Easy to use. Quick to understand. Easy editing. Freedom of design What do you dislike? Many steps are involved to create a new element. Sometimes drag and drop doesn't work. Concrete doesn't work if versions differ. Error messages are not very understandable. Recommendations to others considering the product: Simple but effective software to manage your or clients websites. What problems are you solving with the ...

User Friendly for End Users, not so much for IT

What do you like best? Training the end-users on this software was pretty easy. We made a guide and everything seems to be running smoothly for the most part. We will occasionally get a question or two on something, but for the most part, everything seems to work fine! What do you dislike? Using Concrete5 as an IT user has been a pain. It isn't too much of a negative, but uploading files doesn't seem to be as straightforward as it could be. However, as long as it works well for the end ...

Not what I expected

What do you like best? Blocks are easy for non programmers to work with, and edit the page. What do you dislike? Some developer documentation is a bit obscure and out of the date. Also, there are not as many tutorials available as for some other platforms, which makes a job bit more difficult for certain things. Recommendations to others considering the product: I recommend it, but as I mentioned before, it might be a bit difficult to find the right developers to implement ...

Great idea, a little hard to find support

What do you like best? My favorite part is the edit-in-place feature. This makes it really easy for me to build websites for clients and then hand it over to them to maintain. What do you dislike? My least favorite thing is that Concrete 5 isn't as widespread as some other web platforms. So there's fewer widget options and support. I liked how simple it was to implement, as I don't have a ton of web development experience, but when I got stuck, I found it pretty frustrating to try to ...
