A practical everyday use app

What do you like best? It generates links from screenshots and copy them automatically, in a way that I just need to press control+V to share. Also it is good to have a records of the pictures shared, and allows to edit them with arrows. What do you dislike? Overall is very good. Just sometimes the notification bar that the screenshot has done mixes with the work that I am doing. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? An image is ...

Use it every day to explain work to clients.

What do you like best? CloudApp is fantastic for taking quick (or long) videos of me walking through websites or complicated issues that otherwise would be very difficult to explain over the phone or email. I also love being able to markup screenshots that let me clearly explain something better than words alone. What do you dislike? I really don't have any dislikes about CloudApp - it's worth every penny for me. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Nearly 10 years with Cloudapp - convenient and powerful tool

What do you like best? CloudApp takes the thought process out of quickly sharing files, documents, images, video and more. I can generate anything and drop it into CloudApp for a quick link to share things efficiently and quickly - and know when people click it. Nice to not have to worry about storage constraints or server maintenance when sharing things. What do you dislike? Starting shortly after 5.8 and on into 6.x CloudApp has not been capturing GIFs and videos directly for ...

The all-in-one screen capture tool

What do you like best? CloudApp is so easy-to-use. Every time I want to explain something to a customer, social media contact, developer I just take a screenshot and add some notes or record a video and share the link. What do you dislike? Nothing to dislike at all. CloudApp gets better and better. Recommendations to others considering the product: Just try it - then buy it :) What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Saving ...

An Invaluable Tool

What do you like best? It allows me to create sharable content on the fly What do you dislike? As the feature set grows, the interface is becoming a little clunky What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am saving endless time by being able to annotate with text and symbols, or simply with my voice.

Convenient file share - no logins or permissions

What do you like best? I love that it's simple. No permission. Anyone with the link can access the file. It has all the features you need, but none of the gimmicky ones. I love the feature to screen record, screenshot, file upload. I use short screen recordings to quickly train clients on simple tasks they can do themselves, and it automatically gives me a link to share in an email. Those also play in-browser, which makes it convenient on their end. What do you dislike? ...

Pretty handy tool!

What do you like best? CloudApp has a lot of options and features for taking screenshots and short clips, as well as marking them up, and sharing them in a variety of ways. The "point" markup option is great, as well as the privacy filter. You can choose whether to copy the image/content or the CloudApp URL, you can customize shortcuts, etc. It's been very useful! What do you dislike? There isn't a way (that I know of) to easily integrate with a longer-term image hosting ...

Lightweight and used throughout our company

What do you like best? Easy of use. Can quickly copy/paste links and every screenshot/recording is saved. What do you dislike? "Record" is now the first button instead of "capture." I personally use the screenshot tool much more often than the recording tool. Cloudapp also used to allow you to search by keyword through past screenshots which was a huge value add. Unfortunately they removed this functionality. Also, the sign-in gets wonky at times on desktop and often on mobile. ...

Covers all the basics needed

What do you like best? I use the auto upload feature a lot, especially copying the screenshots so I can paste the image in line. Another great one is the direct link. Unlike Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., the direct link from CloudApp does not have access restrictions and is easy to find. What do you dislike? I've had some issues with having long movie recordings fail. Maybe I had the wrong setup, or my laptop was just acting up, but it was quite frustrating after recording a ...

A very handy tool that I use daily!

What do you like best? I love that I can use an easy keyboard shortcut to quickly share screenshots with clients or with support teams. After a screenshot is captured, I can preview it, annotate and much more. But the best feature is being able to drag and drop that screenshot in various places. It's a huge part of my daily productivity. What do you dislike? Sometimes a cloudapp windows appears over my start menu and it doesn't go away unless I shut the app down. But this is a ...
