Clicky Reviews in February 2025: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

No Help at all ..

I had done a lot of research to validate Clicky would be a good choice. An account was set up, fees paid, then the feeling of comfort vaporized. The reason? The 10 minutes allowed for initiating two factor authentication expired to re-enter the site. The result? No access to my account. Clicking on 'Help' to find out how to recover the account flipped directly to the 2Fa prompt. No access for help - not very help[ful. And, every received email from Clicky in the account setup are 'no reply' ...

We tried several Google Analytics Alternatives

An excellent change from Google Analytics. Previously we used Matomo software for creating reporting dashboards suitable for reporting within our organization to upper management. Due to GDPR we then tried out Matomo for our blog but it just did not generate data we needed. Excellent software, real time analytics in an API. Allows us to bring in real time analytics into our CMS so our team can see what articles are doing well and learn from this. Really useful tool for tracking hourly traffic to the site and easy to read into graphing tool / google sheets to show the results graphically and immediately. What do you like best about Clicky? In-depth analytics, with many ways to customize the data to your preference. The live traffic snapshot is also very helpful for spikes (ie, HN traffic hits). Very reasonable pricing as well. Their integration into SheerSEO is also handy. What do you dislike about Clicky? Only the 'Campaign' UTM parameter is tracked for attribution.
