Simplify Expense Reporting
What do you like best? I like how simple Chrome River has made it to not only submit and track expense reports, but also to audit and approve them. What do you dislike? At times, the complexity of our policies can cause issues in trying to automate approvals. Certain controls need certain aspects and at times the users become confused and end up going the wrong direction, causing the process to not work as expected. What do you like best? The easiness from the mobile app and very user friendly. What do you dislike? How it's not easy to go back to an approved report Recommendations to others considering the product: This has been a great addition to our company I really recommend it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The major problem is the manual and paper way we used to do it. The benefits have been time savings.

What do you like best? The seamless transition to paperless expense reimbursement. we launched a few weeks prior to the pandemic, and with limited and at time no staff in the office, colleagues can get their expenses authorized and get their reimbursement within a couple days. Chrome River has delivered on all expectations we had for our expense reporting tool
What do you like best? Chrome River was easy to transition to and we are able to customize it to fit our needs as a company. Their customer support team has been good to work with and they have updates and new features all the time. Our employees like the ease of use and the fact that the mobile experience is the same as the desktop. We also love CR Snap which makes getting images into CR very easy. What do you dislike? Chrome River Expense is easy to configure and maintain.
What do you like best? I enjoy being able to see the rules and manage them ourselves. Making changes to the rules are easily done without contacting support. What do you dislike? It is challenging to find any at this point. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Speed is the greatest benefit since the entire expense process is extremely streamlined.

What do you like best? Paperless. Can build approval routing for almost any rule. What do you dislike? Not easy to add or change approval rules. Recommendations to others considering the product: Support team or process needs work. To be fair, we do see Chrome River trying to improve this and have steadily seen improvement. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Violations & Warnings for internal policies and guidelines.

What do you like best? Chrome River simplifies the entire expense reporting and payment process. What use to take over an hour for one of our travelers to enter can now be done in 10-15 minutes. The approval process can be set up to follow your company policies and approvers have several options to review the expenses and approve/decline.
