Just meh
What do you like best? I like that it has everything- earnings, insurance, hours all in one place. What do you dislike? It always rounds to the next minute after :30 seconds after the minute. I also don’t like how it doesn’t tell us the minutes after the hour when calculating the hours. Instead, it calculates 3/4 (.75 of an hour. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Recording hours, displaying important information for employees.

Long time Ceridian Customer from HPW upgrades to Dayforce
What do you like best? The new hire process is so simple especially the tax setup (for PA. It's all done automatically. The ability to preview payroll results before the commit is also a wonderful feature. What do you dislike? Can I say we are still too new to really dislike anything about the system. Coming from the old HPW what is not to like about Dayforce. If anything, faster results would be nice. Recommendations to others considering the product Great flexible system. What ...

Global database for human resources
What do you like best? It has a great integrity of the data. It is a good management system for human resources and equipment within the company. Manages the different files within a database, which increases the ease of managing documents, reports and internal teams from different areas of the company. The configuration is quite flexible, it can be customized and it also has a well-cut design, which is useful so that any change you make within the system is presented with an ...

Functional, but clunky
What do you like best? The general concept is intuitive, and things generally make sense. Adding/editing shifts is straightforward, and functions like holiday pay or vacation time are easy to use. What do you dislike? The interface is clunky. Editing multiple entries is a struggle against the UI, and making/saving changes is a fairly slow process. The Silverlight dependency is also a problem, and causes frequent crashes. Basing the web software on an obsolete coding language was not a ...
