What do you like best? Point is very easy to use. It loads quickly, and the screens are laid out in a way that is efficient to complete the application and generate forms. What do you like best? What I best liked about Calyxx Point was that it was not a Web based program like Empower and was not subject to system delays with other LOS's i've worked with. What do you like best? Point is easy to use and makes it simple to pull customer data for future use. The menus are clean and intuitive. What do you dislike? It is very streamilined to the 1003 and transfers well to DU/LP and the processing side is good.

What do you like best? It is easy to navigate and complete the 1003 in a logical order with very few glitches is any. It is also universal and uploads to wholesale lenders with ease. What do you dislike? Sometimes the REO and Liability sections do not transfer over correctly to the wholesale lender. What do you like best? It has continual updates to keep up with industry standards. What do you dislike? The updates are sometimes faulty and our company has had some issues converting to the new updates. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use Calyx Point to store all our customer information and to print our all necessary forms to gaining a mortgage. It has shortened the time needed to get our loan documents out to our borrowers.

Cumbersome, but Necessary Software

What do you like best? Point allows me to originate loans, but the system is clunky. It hasn't changed much in the 10-years I've used it. There are hundreds of forms that different lenders require. It would be nice if they were searchable. They are not. Setting up templates is time consuming. Much of the information could be pre-populated, but isn't. Pretty Mortgage User Friendly

What do you like best? I like that the screens and interface are similar to how a mortgage originator takes a loan application. That way it is so much easier to flow through the screens and get them completed. What do you dislike? Some of the fields that are the same info, do not carry through to other screens. What do you like best? Calyx is able to handle all of your needs for loan origination and servicing. I have used this software for over three years. Now that I am familiar with it I can easily handle my everyday pipeline needs. It can be used to generate loan applications, loan numbers, and re-disclosures. What do you dislike?
