Failed setup - lack of support
The software seems really solid. The implementation is terrible. They don't have enough implementation specialist to help with setup. Getting appointments with them are scheduled weeks out and spread too far apart to get any moment on a set up. We have had to delay a failure on our attempt with Buildium, demand a refund, and select another provider. They could be good, they just aren't staffed to make it work.

New Buildium User and Raving Fan
As a new user to the Buildium platform, I have on a few occasions called in to the customer support center for assistance. On each occasion, I am pleased to share, the support staff has been knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and kind. On each occasion my issue has been resolved. Beyond that, this platform is amazing to work with. It integrates several functions of property management that are sometimes only hosted in separate platforms. We are HUGE fans of Buildium and their support team!

i have a open case about late fees and…
i have a open case about late fees and i got one response from someone which was about a week and a half ago and since then I've sent two emails and have had no response back. the support team is not very good at responding. There is not option to enter a pet deposit/fee. which most people have animals so I think that should be something that is added. Other than that its a pretty simple program and has been working on my property management end.

Don't do it
Don't do it. I've been with Buildium for over a decade and their resent changes to credit reports is by far the stupidest change they made. Use to be once the tenant fills out the application and pays the application fee I can just order the credit report. No the tenants has to wait for me to process the application then order the report so an email can be sent to the tenant where they can initiate the process by filling out more information then they approve what they already approved when ...
