Needs more reports

Needs more reports, More customization of reports - Somewhere to print LISTS like Owner property tenant without having to use EXCEL as the medium and combine one or more to achieve what should be simple lists. GL should be able to show CLEARED/RECONCILED ITEMS in bank ledgers. Needs more flexibility for multiple leases per unit, for college and/or ANY roommate situations, rather than creating many additional units to accommodate this.

When called, the representative was very knowledgeable. In another note, the "Help" sometimes is too vague. There is a lot of people that has no experience with accounting and the help needs to perhaps has more details. Example: When "withheld money from Last month rent to pay a tenant's rent, it tells you steps to withheld money, but it needs to also say something like... doing this it only converts the liability into income, but it does not move the money from one account to the other, ...

We have used Buildium for many years…

We have used Buildium for many years and it is a big asset to our company. The functionality is simple yet everything we need to be in compliance with our state laws. The addition of a showing coordinator was great! We recommend Buildium often.

Overall very good and worth the money

Overall very good and worth the money. There are a few areas where things could be improved. I've made several suggestions and the people to whom I recommend the changes agree that they're very reasonable. Tech support has gotten much better but can be frustrating. For example, when I call and have a 30 minute hold, I choose the callback feature. If they call when I'm on another line and can't take the call, I go to the end of the queue. Buildium has good support…still missing a crucial feature

Buildium has good and available support and a ton of features. I subscribe and will continue to. There are some crucial features that are still missing. Top of that list: there is currently no way to see % of vacant units over any period, other than what are not leased at the present moment. It's frustrating because Buildium has all the data (lease start and end dates for every unit) to make this possible. Great software platform

Great software platform. Sometimes I think they are slow to respond and react, but I imagine the scale of growth is rapid right now. The e-pay and banking components in particular tend to have more bugs than the rest. I would suggest focusing on customer feedback for upgrades and updates like they have, and they can weather the growth storm.

Most often I get excellent help. Sometimes I think the processes could b enhanced to make them a little easier to use, ie; sometimes I have tried to use the help on line and I was not successful and the directions were not too clear.
